" The place is good for its pricepoint but it’s dated compared to their online pictures and potentially compared to other hotels. They have a park opposite the hotel that’s run down. I think the hotel is part of one big estate that’s either under developed or lacks maintenance. There are some restaurants in the area, 2 or 3 outlet stores and a carting track, if you’re into that. "

" Great access to the nearby restaurants. The staff are attentive and work hard even when there is a language barrier (that is absolutely my fault, and not theirs). The taxi drivers who work for the company are competent and helpful. Free WiFi is available even if you aren't staying. "

" I was not staying here. But I would give a big thumb up for their service. Me and my friends are lost in this area and we asked the receptionist (is a guy, he approach us and offer help). Then we were so tire due to hot weather and we walked a distance to reach here. So we decided to play snooker here (pay 50000 rupiah for an hour) to relax. And we realised they provide free suttle bus to nogaya hill shopping mall, we told them we are not staying here, but he said we are welcomed to join. They also allowed us to use their phone, we used to book restaurant and massage (pay 2000 rupiah a minute /local call)

" Good hotel, bed is solid(no creaking) if you know what I mean. Blankets, sheets, towels were clean and air conditioning was fine. Power plugs are UK so no problem for sinkies, breakfast buffet was not too shabby either just stay away from the spaghetti. Staff were friendly and helpful, little bit isolated from shops, but in Batam you need a car to get around anywhere anyway... Not too shabby! "

13 December 2016Check-in process and welcome were great (5). Swimming pool is good (4/5), cost one star for people smoking around the pool where kids also playing. Gym has good equipments and music and good view of the pool (5/5). Sauna was good, warm enough but people were talking loud on their cell phone instead of relaxing :(. Breakfast had good varieties and spread (5/5).
Room service was good, but can be improved (considering a sizable foreigner clowd they should consider putting a person who has good fluency in English to answer and take order), ordered dinner and took almost an hour to come, good portion but quality was not great. Room was very clean but had a strong cigar smoke odor, room service could have given us or done room spray (3/5)
They should consider giving a handout/Pamphlet on services/facilties available in the premises, timings, and nearby places to explore instead of expecting guests to ask reception for everything or read on the posters kept around the car standing in the reception area.
Hotel should consider doing some serious maintenance work in rooms (2 wooden slabs on the master bedroom floor were not fixed properly and creeped, bathtub plug didn't work so no use of jacuzzi).
Hotel located within Walkable distance to chocolate house, miniature house park, golden factory outlet, golden prawn restaurant, and golden café. (5/5). Hotel located at 10 mins taxi ride from batam centre ferry terminal.
Overall, it was a good stay and consider going again. "

" Great lobby design. Rooms are okay, aircon sometimes not cool enough and furnitures are old enough to be replaced. Average breakfast food. No juice, only syrup water available. The worst could be lift availability. When I stayed here, function room on 9th floor was booked for wedding. Around 9 PM, I had to wait until 5 times to be able to enter lift (my room was in 8th floor). "

" My experience at Golden View on the 18 Oct 2014. It was fine. We had the family room . There was two rooms and two toilets and 1 jacuzzi. 1 room is big and 1 room is small. Overall it was awesome however the living room is quite small and the lights were dim. Breakfast was okay not that much variety. Should try the pisang keju around the hotel area. Im coming back on this month here and taking the family room! Should book online as it is cheaper. Overall room is good but toilet is a little smelly and jacuzzi is a little dirty. "
