" This place is great! They have a good variety of books, but not necessarily your main- stream best sellers. They also have some quirky items for sale. It is very small and gets crowded quickly. It also is a little overpriced. They carry a nice selection of poetry and local writers as well. It is in a great, funky part of town that is full of little shops, wine bars, restaurants and coffee shops. It is a good area to while away an afternoon. "

" Independent bookstore with its own imprint publisher. There's a book vending machine in front of the store, so you can get a book for 20 SGD. The books are wrapped in white paper and only given a brief description. Overall the ambience is very nice, and if you're overwhelmed with all the Singaporean literature collection, the storekeeper will gladly help you. There's a resident cat who lives here so be careful when you open the door. "

" Cannot stress it enough how wonderful, beautiful, all sorts of magical this place is. If you're into local publications and want to dive into Singapore's best, this place fits just right. They have an extensive collection of international & local publications (highly recommend their poetry section), nostalgic knick knacks, and a cute cat waiting for you. If you're lucky, they sometimes held a sale with very good deal; even better than major bookstores.
