Central Borneo Language Institution is the first language institution in Central Kalimantan which was established in March 20, 2013, founded by Randi Julian Miranda, a native Dayak Bakumpai, who has been working as interpreter and translator for many international foundations and projects , and the local government around Central Kalimantan. Establishing this institution due to increasing needs for language services in Central Kalimantan (Especially English– Bahasa Indonesia), particularly after Central Kalimantan was appointed by the president of Indonesia as pilot province for the implementation of REDD + (Reducing Emission from Deforestation and Degradation), and the beauty of its forests and biodiversity has attracted the interest of researchers and foreign tourists to conduct research and pay a visit to this tropical rainforest province.
Not only limited to that extents, we also concern about the needs of capacity building for local human resources and education development in Central Kalimantan. We definetely assure that English ability is exceptionally important to be enhanced in order to have same bargaining position in competing in the international level.
