" Waroeng steak is very popular in Yogyakarta, and several another major city in indonesia. You can find waroeng steak in many area in Yogyakarta. The food is good, the price is affordable, the place is good. Some place might be quite crowded if on the holiday.
26 April 2018Waroeng Steak at Gejayan have Non smoking room, its the same with in Waroeng steak near Jalan kaliurang. The ambience is good when i came here at lunch time. Not many people, so we can relax and enjoy our lunch.
I tried new menu, called Crispy cheese steak. Pretty good, but it will be more good if they add some more cheese hihihihi.. if youre near Jalan Gejayan or jalan Affandi and wanna try lunch or dinner that non-rice, this place should be considered.
Inside the restaurant there are pray room, clean toilet. The park area is quite small, maybe just can handle 3-4 cars. But for motorcycle is quite big enough. And they have canopy for motorcycle park area, so your motorcycle wouldnt directly get the sunlight or rain.
So overall this place is amazing, 4.5 from 5 max grade.. would be 5, if the they add some more cheese on the steak :) "

15 April 2018There are 2 options which we could choose, smoking room or non-smooking (with air conditioner) room. I like the non-smooking room since I don't smoke and much more suitable for my child. There's also a high chair ready for any child to sit, although there's only 1. The AC temperature is better, way cooler then before. Just don't forget to always keep the door closed to maintained it.
How to order: Better to come here at least in 2 persons. If you alone, you will kind have a hard time to get a table when crowded. You have to list down your order, your table number, and then bring it to cashier yourself. You also need to pay first before you can turn back to your table and waiting for your food. That's why bringing your friend to wait at the table while you go ordering is a recommendation. Or else, your table might be taken by others.
The price is getting higher though. If I just need to prepare Rp 60.000 budget for 2 people long way ago, now you have to prepare Rp 100.000 in your wallet. Well, at least the taste is still the same and the menu is getting more varied (except for drinks as it get less varied than before. No more juices :| ).
Parking lot is small, enough for many motorcycles but not enough for cars. When crowded with both types of vehicles it'll be hard to budge. But no worries, there's a parking officer who will help bring and guide in/out your vehicle. Just prepare Rp 1000/2000 for the fee.
Overall, this still a favorite place to eat an affordable steak. :) "

You also can watch the menus from resto TV that compiled the tasty menus. The TV make us notice a lot more than what it is stated from the book menu. Good place to hang out. Musholla ( Moslem prayer room) and toilet is available. Non smoking AC room also available but closed by the time i arrived. I will rate for 4,5 "
