" We booked and prepaid online and it was a bit cheaper. The rooms are very standard and decently clean. However, the air conditioner we got in our room was extremely cold. We tried to turn it up a bit and we were still freezing. We considered turning it off but it would have been much too hot, so we just turned it on and off. Otherwise, a cheap, no frills option in Surabaya. "

" Lobby is on first floor. You'll have to take the lift first to go to the reception. Room is small but clean, nice rainfall shower head. Free wifi (but slow). AC decided to switch off by itself one night and didn't want to turn on. Mattress is a bit too soft for my liking. No phone in the room but you can download an app from the appstore to communicate with the reception and see info about surroundings. " Rooms are not too bad, however bed linens could be without spots. Towels are from prehistoric age, they probably didn't change them since Japanese invasion. The restaurant is extremely terrible. Half of menu is "sold off" another half, like potato wedges for example, should never ever be cooked so badly. You overpay a huge price for potato and get really bad, overfried meal full of unfresh fat and served on dirty piece of salad. Other meals are quite in the same condition. Included breakfast has small choice and is bad as well. Restaurant is not clean and needs renovation. Disappointing.
