" Delicious Indonesian Babah-Dutch cuisines! Mouth-watering nasi dishes (from the unique Nasi Bhuk to various ends of nasi gorengs) coupled with great drinks (there's a wide selection of beers and wines). Try their angsle as well... Heavenly. And, they are open 24 hours! So late night supper is no problem at all. "

" Not a fan. The waitresses seem to love serving foreigners, not to local people who probably they think ‘unworthy’ of being there. Ugh! "

" This is amazing place! Gorgeous and huge collections of antique were displayed very well. The taste of the food is FANTASTIC. Overall this is the best restaurant and hotel I ever visited. The price is just right. It is SUPERB. This is a very recommended place to visit for all the tourists who visited Malang. "

" I've frequent this restaurant, and on Christmas day we decided to eat here, 5 stars for the food as usual, 1 star for the service though, it took 1 hour from taking order until drinks are out, and another half hour until food was out, and they were out separately so we can't start eating at the same time! AMAZINGLY THERE'S ONLY 3 TABLE FULL OUT OF 20 WOW!
25 December 2017AFTER WE LEFT AND PAID THE BILL, A WAITRESS COME RUNNING TO OUR CAR SAYING WE HAVEN"T PAID THE BILL!!! LIKE SERIOUSLY? WE HAD DINNER WITH 6 PEOPLE!! We showed the signed credit card receipt and she apologizes WHILE RUNNING AWAY!! WHAT HAPPENED TO THE SERVICE OF THIS RESTAURANT??? "

" This is hands down, the best restaurants in Malang. The server is good and attending, while the food is delicious. I was a bit skeptic with their food, but they definitely served a superb quality food. Not to mention that this place is definitely gorgeous, plus the ambience is amazing. It can a bit more expensive than normal restaurant, but once in a while its okay to just let loose and enjoy the food and the service they offer. 🙌 "

" Melati Restaurant is in the historical Tugu Hotel, next to the colonial era swimming pool. It opens 24 hours, with menu that spans from Continental breakfast to local favorites. The restaurant itself features many rooms with historical artifacts, jewelries and paintings. Amazingly, our server is very knowledgeable and happy to spend extra time for a show and tell through different dining rooms and sections of the restaurant.
29 November 2017The food is superb! We tried Nasi Buk (Mixed Rice Madura Island style), Nasi Goreng Bang Samin(Brother Samin’s fried rice) and Nasi Kuning Komplit(Indonesian style briyani rice).
I can only speak for The Buk rice has lodeh tewel (jackfruit soup), fried chicken, fried beef, heart/lung and few things that I can’t ID. Worry not, everything is well seasoned, very tasty and Michelin stars worth (no exaggerations).
Everyone else can’t stop praising their rice dishes either. Food in East Java hasn’t been the same since then. "

" Great but not excellent compare to other tugu group restaurants. I came here on saturday night, crowded. Very heritage, a little bit spooky at the some corners "

" The only place in Malang with a half-decent wine list. International, Indisch (colonial Dutch-inspired fusion cuisine), and local delicacies on the menu. Opens daily until very late.
20 April 2017If you find the price of the wines eye-popping you could do a BYO with very reasonable corkage charge.
Orem-orem, a largely vegetarian curry soup with tofu and tempeh is to be found only in Malang and this place offers an upscale version of that. For the dessert, try the angsle, a sweetened coconut milk served warm with sticky rice, pieces of bread, rice vermicelli and spiced with pandanus leaves. "

" This restaurant is one of the most beautiful places in Indonesia!
09 April 2017Its in ChineseJavanese, Colonial style and a little bit pricey but it is every penny worth. Also you just can have a cappuccino outside in the "und Corner". It belongs also to the Hotel but with dutch colonial atmosphere where you can by sweets for take away or just have a drink in an old wooden cheer on a veranda. "

" The best heritage restaurant in Malang. The food is great, and the interior is unbelievable!! I love those two pictures in the main dining room: one is Oei Tiong Ham (Indonesia's first tai-pan, if I am not wrong), and the other is Oei Huy Lan, his daughter (a magnificent 3D picture that crept me out). "
