" We ended up staying here for 4 nights and loved it, everyone is super friendly and helpful. The room is a basic double bed with either fan or aircon available with a yummy breakfast included. We also did the turtle tour from here which was amazing, the owner tells you information about everything and stops of at loads of different little places a long the way. "

" This homestay was the worst. The only nice thing the host did was pick us up from the train station. Not super good communication even there. There were bed bugs, cock roaches, and rats. On top of this, the host knowingly provided is us incorrect information on travel to Bali, so he could get more money out of us. He told us it would be 125K to get to Denpasar bus. And that it would be a plane bus. But when he took us up the bus stop. We hopped in a very small bus. After he loaded us in, he took the bus driver behind the bus to pay him, obviously not the full 125K that he charged us. (Later we found out a large bus from the ferry would have only been 40K) so he way overcharged us and pocketed the money. He told the driver t o drop us off at some random point, not where the bus stop was, when we asked to just go to the Denpasar bus stop like everyone else on that bus was going, the bus driver said we had to pay 50K more! At this point I was so frustrated, we just got out of the uncomfortable bus and ordered a taxi. The worst thing was he stole our piece of mind. You want to be able to trust your host. "
