Mukabumi

We are a group of people dreaming of a wonderland; where we can live, learn, share, exchange, and work on all kinds of social issues, art, and creative expressions with strong environmental sensitiveness: from ideas to real actions. As our homebase, we are conducting experiments to realize a sustainable home, at a long-term rented agricultural area in Singapadu, Bali. We are also preparing an open space, creative space, as well as a healing center for anyone who is eager to share and learn together any kind of life-art-spiritual skills and innovation with the spirit and practice of permaculture; conscious, intuitive, environmental-friendly, sustainable. Applying permaculture into our design; we're building with natural and recycled materials, farming organically, experimenting with alternative energy, organizing skill-sharing sessions.

At the moment, we finished one bamboo hut (which we will soon live in), and are in the process of building our bamboo creative space & alternative dorm house (with glass bottles as the material). Meanwhile, we continue landscaping and start planting fruit trees, vegetables, and herbs. Also organize workshops on bamboo and ecobricks, and collaborating with like-minded groups and individuals.

We are still far from our dream, but we are on our way. We are so happy to get connected and to work with brilliant people at many stages of our process, while we still keep calling for volunteers and anyone who have similar ideas to work together with us. We just want to work to make it happen! And we want you to be part of our growing journey together :)
