Most buildings in the premises are quite original, including the Sultan's private collection such as the royal carts, jewelries, weapon sets, etc. However, overall it was not so well preserved. Maybe because they are lacking of funds for the building maintenance. "

" Beautiful, big yet need to be taken care of at some part of the buildings. The entrance fee is cheap you can also pay extra money for the guide so that there will be clear explanation about the place. Oh yeah, the guide said that we can have extra fee again to the bathing place. I haven't tried it though, yet it is believed that if you pray while bathing it is good for the future or something. Some kind of javanese's wishing well or in this case wishing bath "

" Keraton kasepuhan is not as great as Keraton in Yogyakarta. Pretty small and you can I explore it less than hours with no guide, 1 hour with guide. Not many collection exhibited-even in the museum. You can ask for guide but if you are not companied by any, the book seller will follow you and they might ask fee "as you wish" by the end of the trip. Beware. But you can always buy their book.
