The time is over, but the impact never been over. 2 weeks ago, 21 exchange participants all over the world deciding to make an impact in Buntis Village, located in the north-east of Bandung. their occupation ( the villagers ) is a coffee farmer. Even they produce about 1 ton a year for the past 3 years, they still have only one customer.

Everything comes to an end, On 29th July, we had an awarding and farewell night for all exchange participants first wave.
Saying goodbye is not an easy thing. But, we're lucky to have known bunch of people who was so hard to say goodbye to.

Sampurasun Summer Project 2018 has already reached the last week of project, which is week 6. 10 Exchange Participants had done a lot of things from the first day of attending Welcoming Dinner, Incoming Preparation Seminar (IPS), Training for Trainee (TfT), make bookmark, keychain, and smoothing the Sundanese traditional instruments of the main partner, learning angklung, batik workshop, campaign, radio visit, school roadshow, and also hostfamily events. All of those activiti...es give a lot of precious memories and new skills and unforgotable experiences for them.
The amazing thing that has been achieved is that they have succeded to increasing the profit of the main partnership, which is Pey Production, and also succed to develop the marketing by making an Instagram account and post a lot of things there, especially about the process of products making, which is all handmade. The achievement is very relateable with the main objective of the project, which is to increase the profit of main partnership and helping to develop the marketing, and also promoting the Sundanese culture to locals, and youth especially.

[MALALA PROJECT RECAP]
Share impact, Share Love, Share Happiness. It has been 6 weeks 29 exchange participants from Australia, Thailand, Cambodia, Mexico, China, South Korea, Algeria, Morocco, Honking, Egypt, Namibia, France, Poland, Canada, Sweden, Germany, Italy, and India joining activities in Malala Project. It was always fun and full of love from the beginning, from Welcoming Dinner, IPS, Training For Trainee, Explore Bandung, Visit Partner, Visit Culture, Teaching Days,... Motivation Days, Social Campaign & Charity, School Roadshow, until global village. Especially in Teaching Days, we spend our days with dozens of children in 3 orphanages and 1 street children community, focusing on giving awareness about quality education.
We made a lot of people aware about how important education is. This is what we got, even though the kids might be unable to get a formal education, but their spirit to study is on fire. By giving them a short term class to study, we succeded to explore and develop the potential that exists within them. We succeded to be their friends, make them happy with the new knowledges to see the world, and make them feel loved. And also we help the children by buying books, stationary, boards, etc from the money that we got from social Campaign & Charity, to support them and maintain their spirit to study more.

Hi my name is Anita and I'm currently doing my exchange in Turkey.
Welcoming 2018, I have already experienced a lot of new things at the beginning of this year. I went to new and cool places in Turkey, met new friends, learnt new culture, and many more!
