For dozens of species at risk, habitat protection alone is not enough. SEA Wildlife Preservation Society's mission is to save animal species at risk from extinction in in the Southeast Asia region by providing direct, hands-on care. We are the only organization in Southeast Asia to provide this critical need for multiple species in multiple recovery efforts across the region. We specialize in science-based techniques such as conservation breeding and release, reintroduction and translocation. Our Action Plan is based on the urgency of the need and is updated annually.Southeast Asia Wildlife Preservation Society (SEAWPS) works in dozens of wild places across Southeast Asia, with scientific bases from the mountains of Laos to the coral-studded waters of Fiji. Today, Southeast Asia's remaining intact wildernesses provide exceptional and important opportunities for conservation. By working with governments and communities to bolster environmental policy, train new generations of environmental stewards, support sustainable livelihoods, and connect protected areas, SEAWPS seeks to protect the continent's wild places in perpetuity.
