" The M&S cafe at Wheelock - overall a disappointing experience. Based on my M&S experiences in the UK, Philippines, etc. my expectation was that the one in Singapore would at least be as good. I ordered a Cappuccino which was quite a decent cup. The vanilla sponge muffin has been my absolute favourite in all of the M&S menus. To my utter disappointment, the sponge muffin here had a rock hard exterior, was ice cold inside and so not a sponge! The carrot cake was just okay. Recommend only for coffee, get your pastries elsewhere! "

" Visited the cafe adjacent to the store. Ordered the tomato soup served with bread - this was exceptional and tasty. The eggs Florentine was alright, though the eggs were a little over cooked. Service is at best mediocre, do be patient with the young staff. Overall, a good selection food from snacks to desserts to mains. Brings back memories of the UK! "

Conveniently they were also waiting for our table to be vacated so that they could put it together with other tables to make up a reservation for a larger group. "
