Ganara Art Space based in Jakarta built from a dreams of its founder Saraswati Djumaryo. With her blessings, Yugie Kartaatmaja a fine arts graduate majoring in ceramic arts was appointed for a new set of dreams. With his art background and experiences in design, pottery, educator and a dream to share the knowledge about pottery to people around him, Ganara Pottery was built.
Pottery products are well known in human history. It’s a calming experience when you can create something from clay with your bare hands. To touch the clay and to feel the connection with earth element is a great stress release. For kids, pottery class let teach them to create and not be afraid of getting their hands dirty while learning and developing their fine motor skills.
