Tridatu are the three different colors to represent our Sakti (Spirit) of Trimurti (three main manifestation of our Supreme God), which are a God of Brahma as a Creator (red color) - a God of Wisnu as a Protector (black color) - and a God of Ciwa as a Destroyer (white color).
Everyone in Bali usually use the Tridatu String as a bracelet, necklace just to remind us a Sakti of Trimurti Gods and should always do a good think in this life. As our Harmony Concept of Trihita Karana (tk), which are we have to create and keep the harmony between Human and God, Mankind, and Nature!
