" We only stayed 1 night but really enjoyed our time there. The price was great and the host was kind. Cold AC, hot water, a big bed and great view. Would recommend and stay again. We didn't book in advance, just stopped by and was fortunate that he had a vacancy. "

" This place has everything what a traveller want. Most of all: right on the beach! The view is amazing! Just laying on your bed and u can see the sea. Just take 10 meter walk and u can swim or snorkeling! Fantastic! And it has HOT SHOWER too! Sometimes is better than the cold... Of course I had perfect air condition and wifi too. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is big, designed & clean. The fridge is a really present if u wanna drink some cold - and u would like in the hot 😊 Putu is absolutely helpful, kind & funny guy, who can organize your trip too (and pick up at the airport, etc). If u wanna u can get breakfest too. "

" Good value and your host, Putu, is quite friendly. Location is really nice, with a great view (though admittedly not the best part of the beach). Everything was quite clean overall, but I did have a small cockroach show up that he got rid of. Shower is cold water too, but temperature is pretty bearable. Toilet is western style and with one of the handheld hoses, nice and clean! "

" It's actually a nice place but there were some issues.
15 July 20161. We had cockroaches in our room and the bathroom. I know the are not dangerous but still you don't want to have them under your pillow. We told the host about this and he cleaned the room, but still they came back every night as we stayed there (4 nights).
2. The staff's English skills enabled just a poorly communication. If you have a more difficult request, you can only talk to the owner who's English skills are OK.
3. We did a diving course there and had to get up very early. The included breakfast could not be served before 7:30. This lead to the fact that we had to hurry sometimes. With a little bit more flexibility from the staff this wouldn't be necessary.
Except for the cockroaches I still would recommend this place as it has a beautiful view. Maybe this was just temporary but I can not say this for sure. "

" I couldn't have asked for a more welcoming experience. With only 2 rooms available, you really feel like you have your own private villa...right on the beach! Putu is a wonderful host and interesting guy to chat with. I highly recommend staying at Tambun Sari. "
