" This small "resort style" hotel has a modern property civered in beautifull plants and art. The rooms are well sized, clean and comfortable. It is however very noisy as the hotel is jext to every other hotwl and the rooms are not well sound insulated(we were offered a room on the other aide but it was of half aize and less than what was promiaed in our package) Service is very basic for a 4.5Star hotel. The included breakfast is very limted set a la carte menu (with real coffe an additional extra you need to pay for). The bar was always out of some drink or other, meals that are included for free in any package you buy are of a very limited set menu of 10 items for lunch and 2 items for dinner! Staff are very curtious and pleasant, but lack to deliver a 4.5S tar hotel experience. Everything needs to be asked and double checked twice. "

" Amazing resort! Everything was top notch! Food was good (I'm half Indonesian and very picky when it comes to Indonesian food, but I had no complaints whatsoever about the food Sudamala served), staff was friendly and very accommodating, spa service was great, room was comfortable and spacious, and the beach was right there! But my favorite part of our stay was their turndown service. Every night, the staff would leave a bedtime story with cookies in the room! A different story each night too! I've uploaded some pics so you get an idea of what it was like. All in all, the resort was so good that we didn't feel the need to leave the resort at all! Great place if you're looking for some rest and relaxation :) Highly recommended! "

Not so many artistic things found in Senggigi but yet still an impressive place with beautiful gardening, Lush greenery surrounding, stunning beachfront swimming pool and the beach is just wow. So, yes. This place meets my expectation. Equally as beautiful as the one in Sanur. "

" Peaceful resort. We were given an upgrade to our room which was warmly appreciated. The room was very large airy although the open air WC took some getting used to. Good amenities on site but sometimes service is lacking by the pool, but maybe they have had complaints about being to pushy with drink sales in the past. Courtesy bicycles are a nice touch. The beach area is not the best but local cafés are very good nearby. Its a shame that the restaurant wasn't busy in the evening. Overall I enjoyed my stay and staff are very pleasant and amenable when approached. Would recommend. "

" My girlfriend and I visited Sudamala Suites & Villas about a week ago and It was our absolute favorite place. We have been in Bali for a little over a month and Sudamala was the best yet. The location was great! There is a wonderful beach about a 5-10 minute walk away. (The resort has a section on the beach with umbrellas, chairs, and towels!) The restaurants and night life are amazing around the resort. (Made's Beach Breeze across the street). The breakfast here is one of the best in Bali. The rooms were fabulous, so beautiful, and very comfortable! My girlfriend loved the bathrooms.The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. "

" I can not even begin to explain how much I loved their staff! They were all so nice and accommodating! Our room was one of the best we have stayed at in Bali. The perfect size. They had an amazing outdoor bathroom. My favorite part was that it was a five minute walk to the beach and they have chairs set aside for people staying at Sudamala. And the beach was BEAUTIFUL! Definitely recommend! We also had the couples massage and candles dinner. Both were amazing and exceeded our expectations. "

" Amazing hotel! Food has been delicious, rooms are very nice- we stayed in an ocean view however there isn't much of an ocean view as it is mainly hidden by plants and the pool but that was fine with us. All the staff are very friendly and their English speaking is a much better standard than everywhere else we have stayed. Couple of complaints as usual with any place- we were downstairs and the people upstairs were making a racket scraping furniture or whatever most of the night but we spoke to reception and got moved to another upstairs room that was free. Also the prices for the food that's not included doesn't have the 21% or so tax and service charge already added on which was a bit cheeky so watch out for that. But all in all a very enjoyable stay. "

" Went here for my honeymoon on Nov 2016.

I booked sunset view room for my honeymoon. The room was very great. Very nice and comfortable room. AC was great, big screen TV, high ceiling with traditional design.

They gave me the most front room near the beach so I got a very great view from my room.

Best part of it is the bathroom. I was expecting a standard bathtub yet I got, may I say, a plunge pool instead, inside the bathroom.. haha.. its like a small pool where you and your partner can soak and relaxing in it.

Breakfast was ala carte but it was really good and tasty. Mangsit is a quite place so its good for you who wants to have a getaway from big city crowdness. "

" The hotel staff are kind and so willing to accommodate the needs of guests. We took advantage of the services available, including free bike rentals, talking with the concierge for suggestions, and we had our honeymoon photos taken in traditional Balinese clothes (really fun!). The breakfast is great (strongly recommend Metasari with the croissants!). Room was lovely! They also decorated our room for our arrival, as this was our honeymoon. The restaurant is a little pricy, but the food is good. (Closer to the beach = more expensive) We also loved the bed time stories and cookies each night. We would definitely return. :) "

Great view for breakfast and dinner. Food is excellent and a good variety and portion size. As for value for money. Food and drink are cheap for a luxury hotel but depends what you are buying (local cuisine cheap, imported not so). "

" Lots of positives but there are some areas of improvement, breakfasts very good, the restaurant is at the front of the hotel looking onto the road they are refurbishing part of the restaurant so when it rains they struggle to cope as we found out this morning as the outside area is too small.The towels are very tired and grey and really let the hotel down.The staff are lovely but we have experienced some communication issues, if they just put a note through your door etc, ie times of the Bali dancing and BBQ we where told 2 x different times and the posters didn't tell you.This hotel has the ability to be a top notch 4/5 star it needs closer management and some refurbished and improved standards, but in good location with nice rooms etc. "

" Very nice Resort with super friendly staff. Room are nice, clean and confortable, the best is the outdoor shower for the ground rooms. Just note for the hotel the ocean views are the rooms in the ground floor (close to the ocean) but do not literally face the ocean (but the restaurant/pool). The one facing the sea are the sunset rooms. Breakfast is based on a menu and everything is delicious !!

Around the hotel in the beach there are two nice Warungs (one in each side) with really good prices, great to enjoy the sunset with a cold drink. "

" Beautiful grounds, great pool area. Rooms are cool, nice Bali-style bathroom, but the bedroom area can be damp and bit cold with the air-cond. We were on the ground floor and found that no air con can be ok for much of the time.
Great friendly staff, great variety at breakfast.
The privacy is ok, there is a little coming and going, and some room noise during the quieter times.
Generally very nice and very close to shops and cafes, it's a quieter part of Sanur and not Kuta at all, which we found good.
Some may say this isn't quite five star resort...perhaps right, and perhaps a little expensive, they are stretching a bit for that fifth star...but it was a pretty nice experience. The 5-option Pillow Menu was a good plus. "

" Gorgeous! Definitely exceeded my expectations. The private pool villas were VERY spacious and the outdoor bathroom looking out to the pool was beautiful. We actually spent most of our time in Lombok enjoying the hotel, breakfast in room and lunch and dinner at the restaurant on the beach, enjoying the views and relaxing. Prices were reasonable and staff were fantastic!! When they found out it was our honeymoon, they surprised us with a beautiful cake and the band came right up to our table and serenaded us the WHOLE night. They even had a fire show one of the nights for all the guests on the beach.

Thank you for a great stay - we will definitely be back! "

" Quiet and low density villa - great for couples, honeymooners and couples with young kids (not all at the same time).

Firstly, hotel rooms are good but the bathroom is great! The bathroom is larger than the actual bedroom, and the outdoor shower is an experience by itself (especially when it is raining - imagine cold rain and hot water from the shower on your skin simultaneously).

We had the ground floor pool facing room and couldn't be happier. Short hop to Oleh-oleh restaurant (where breakfast is served) and we can see our kid in the pool from our room.

The staff were very thoughtful and friendly. They saw what was needed and provided us even before us asking. Great service!

The beach is right at the doorstep of the hotel pool - quick note that the sand is not the powdery white sand variety. Beach is quite secluded as it is shared only with a couple other hotels along the stretch.

Location wise the hotel is away from the Senggigi main street - a 5 mins drive (Rupiah 20k ride) but there is a small convenient shop within 5 mins walk.

Minor grouses are the maintenance of the room. Dampness can see at certain corners of the room / shower area. Improvements can be made on the maintenance.

Otherwise great villa and service staff. "

" Fantastic relaxing hotel. Very very friendly staff, great rooms that are good value for money. Beautiful grounds and pool. We had a massage in the spa that was overpriced compared to local massage places, but still comparatively good value for money and the spa staff were extremely friendly and gave a great massage.

The restaurant is great too. Breakfast is included, and is fantastic! Lots and lots of options for the included breakfast. We mostly skip breakfast and sleep in, but here we got up especially for it. We had lunch in the restaurant also and it was great too.

Really recommend the hotel. Would happily stay again. "
