" You can get a lot better (bigger space, greener, more open space) place in Ubud with the same amount of money. This looks and feels like a hotel room. The plus is the internet, it’s pretty hard to get a stable internet in Ubud and to have this in your room (or in the provided coworking space upstairs) is quite convenient. "

" This is a co-living space with a communal kitchen an outdoors coworking space and an outdoors swimming pool with two hammocks. The vibe will depend on the people staying there at the time, so it's really down to your luck. During my one-week stay I haven't seen any families with kids. The age range is 20-40 with a mix of solo travelers, couples and groups. Unlike a hotel you can interact with other guests.

The coworking space isn't exactly your typical coworking space. It's outdoors so the weather will have an impact on how pleasant a working day you'll have. Though the top is covered, so you can still keep working while it's raining.

The rooms are fine with ensuite bathroom. Though the humidity does cause an unpleasant smell. The aircon helps a bit, but don't count on it. It's a different humidity level in every room so you might want to check out different rooms before settling in.

The kitchen has all necessary utensils and there is a supermarket at around 15 minutes walking distance, so cooking is a very viable option. Mind the ants though, as everywhere else in Bali, there is no shortage of them.

There are enough restaurants nearby, but Ubud center is quite a bit of a walk. So better to take a scooter. Bali has almost no sidewalks, so the island isn't exactly designed to promote walking long distances.

The pool is nice, gets cleaned everyday and the hammock is a nice touch.

You get a discount (if it's still going on) if you're a Hubud (coworking space) member. So worth checking out that option. "

" Stay longer and you will feel like you have met your extended family. It's a coliving space so it has a productive vibe. And you get to work in the open! Smoothies and food at the cafe are delicious and the staff really puts an effort to prepare it well. In general, it's a very friendly and inviting place. "

" Nestled in the lush outside area of Ubud this co-working “hotel” promotes a few amenities that lead me to booking but fell short during my stay.

First and foremost the #1 reason why I booked this place was because they advertised their WIFI internet connection as “battle tested” - well they lost that battle. The night arrive, there was no WIFI. It was a weekend and the WIFI was down all weekend. Not a good start. Monday arrives and the WIFI is working but the connection is slow. It’s like DSL - NOT FAST and choppy. Meaning you could be working on something important and all of the sudden for at good 10 minutes, you may loose connection.

Another reason for booking this place but fell short was the restaurant. This “restaurant” is always out of 80% of the items on the menu.

Otherwise, the place offers room with a “co-working” vibe to it. They try to encourage a community feel and good place for networking. "

" Really beautifully designed space. Minimal contemporary design. Only got to see the space as a guest in the restaurant, as The Shift is hosting Alchemy during renovations. Grateful that they are though as it gave me a chance to discover this very inviting hotel. Massage, yoga, and a restaurant of their own, The Eatery, I'd definitely be back and would recommend based on looks alone. The whole space just feels great! "

" I ate at the restaurant here and was happy with the food. They had some board games for us to play while we waited for our food to come out. "
