" Perfect location for nusa Dua. Nusa Dua doesn't offer much so perfect resort for relaxation time. Massages are amazing in the in house soa but expensive. Spa directly outside reaort is half the cost. Food is amazing at the western restaurant same with buffet. The French toast is amazing balls, but don't produce every morning. "

" Great hotel. The hotel is in the middle of a local village, so it's way less touristy here than in lots of other places in Bali. The hotel pool is right behind the beach, so you have the same amazing view of the sea and Nusa Penida from the pool as you have from the beach.

30 November 2017E.g. bar happy hour does not include the restaurant. So if you eat during the happy hour time and would like to use the happy hour deal. You have to walk to the bar, literally two steps out of the restaurant, to order your drinks separately on a different bill. "

30 November 2017The food was good. Buffet breakfast was good. Facilities are good.
Only 1 complaint, the aircons are too small for the rooms. This is because the bathroom is quite big and the door between the bathroom and the bedroom is louvered, the aircon is too small to handle the volume.
I did say this to the front desk before we left so hopefully they do something about it.
Remember, this part of the world is hot and you will get sun burnt if you are not carefull and if the airconditioning is not up to the task, you will not enjoy the night.
Otherwise its a fantastic place to go and I would return. "

Very good breakfast. We did not try the in house restaurants as reviews were not convincing but there are plenty other within walking distance.
For those who are addicted, they even have wifi on the beach ;-) "

10 July 2017Food in the restaurant is overpriced. But outside are a few nice local restaurants with delicious food. Staff is friendly and helpful. Dive center at the hotel is disappointing. Staff more interested in their phone then attention to the customers. So we went to other dive center for our Open Water Course, which was a perfect choice. Hotel is around 2 km from Candidasa but many restaurants in Candidasa offer free pickup and drop service for diner. "

" Very nice hotel! We enjoyed the pools and beach very much, although our room was not overly nice (we went for the cheapest option). Very expensive meals + drinks, I recommend leaving the hotel to eat and drink! There are shops right out front that sell the same drinks for 1/3 of the price! Also book tours and taxis elsewhere (or barter). The hotel got us a taxi and said the fee would be $90 Canadian!!! Not a chance!! "

24 May 2017Our large room was located on the 4th floor directly at the sea. There were 2 loggias and one of them even had a Jacuzzi.
The main pool was amazing with an infinity view to the sea. There were always enough free beach loungers and we were surrounded by beautiful plants and trees. Moreover and there were birds and squirrels all around: very relaxing.
The staff was very friendly and everything was very clean (though there was some plastic waste in the ocean sometimes, but I prefer the pools anyway).
A small supermarket is right out-side the hotel.
In the hotel you can get relaxing massages, you can book sightseeing-trips directly at the hotel-reception and there is even a diving centre directly in the hotel.
The food was delicious: not only at the 2 restaurants in the hotel (both directly at the sea), but also in the nearby restaurants.
There was an amazing breakfast buffet with all kinds of meals: from local to English breakfast and even the croissants were perfect - just like in Vienna. "

" Overall not a plesant and okay experience. On the site it made one of the bugalows look fascinating but in reality it wasn't. When I complained to the staff they made a horrible lie and I was stuck with the room the whole time I was there. Here is my other reviews about the place:

there are two restaurants located in the hotel, a Western one and a Asian one. Both of these restaurants are facing the restaurant and both of them have mediocre food that in my opinion is way too expensive.
Pool and Beach:
Like the restaurant there are two pools. One near a bar type place and another one that's an infinity pool facing the beach. The infinity pool has jets so you can have a nice lower back treatment while facing the water while the other one you can have a cold beer near the other pool. The beach was nice, I suggest go down more to away from the trash but it's mainly clean enough. For big waves and when the tides in I suggest from 10-12 there will be big ones.
Hotel Room:
A pretty small room, I would say maximum 2 people to stay for the Garden view room. But in general the bathroom is very nice place to shower and do your business except there's a rock like form to you can sit on under the shower that I question for some reason. The bed was nice with soft cushiony pillows and blankets, great for sleeping! The channels have a pretty okay choice for the most part such as HBO, CNN, Cartoon Network, etc. and some other Indonesian shows.
Staff:
Like I said in the beginning, the staff in the front was insincere and acted fake nice when I complained. But however, when I walked around the grounds everyone was nice and acknowledged me.
Overall Experience:
It was okay for the most part. The restaurant prices were a little steep for me and the food was not that exciting but was still good. The hotel room had a nice bathroom and bed and some nice channels. The Pools were nice and comforting overlooking the beach. "

01 March 2017Facilities are very well. There is still some construction going on, but the room 225 was flawless. The room is well insulated, so I would recommend raising the AC temperature to maybe 26, and keep speed medium, but I guess climate changes as often as one would change socks.
Internet speed is 20/20 Mbps, the fastest connection I have had in Bali. There is a small business center where you can print and borrow a computer. Just what I needed.
The restaurant with western food is so-so, but see seperate review. Breakfast was very good.
There is a diveshop, diving.de that resides inside the resort. Their dives go around Padang Bai, up to Amed and down to Nusa Penida.
You get what you pay for. I would stay here again if I did want a relaxing stay, maybe get some work done. "

" We stayed at their new private villa last time. Our first impression of Candi Beach hotel was very good, as they are located away from the crowded touristy area. We found that the hotel is really calm, secluded and serene.
07 February 2016Once we arrived, we were greeted by their newly renovated hotel lobby and tropical lush garden. It was spacious and filled with an airy cool breeze. After we finished the check-in procedure, their friendly and helpful staff drove us to our villa with a buggy car. Surely a superb service they gave us.
The villa was really splendid, with a modern looking interior and a touch of traditional Balinese heritage. Yet they did not forget to infuse a natural living plant around the villa area. It created a nice and pleasant ambience around.
We definitely love their spacious villa and their complete amenities. They even provided an espresso machine and locally produce-natural handmade soaps for us. Their private villa pool as well as indoor and outdoor day bed were a perfect choice for us relaxing and enjoying the day.
We also like the fact that we have a very easy access to the hotel private beach. It was just a few steps away from the villa, approximately 2 minutes walk along the lush garden.
Foods were also their speciality here, they have great restaurants with ocean view setting. We were literally eating next to the coastline for breakfast, lunch and dinner, certainly a great experience for us. "
