" Good budget hotel. Restaurant serves inexpensive good food. The rooms are very basic, Asia standard, with cold water shower, but the view is beautiful. The family running the hostel is lovely and I was even allowed to look after an abandoned kitten while I was staying there and they helped me with milk and rice to feed the cat.
25 August 2015The hotel is located on the nice part of Lovina beach (right on the beach) near expensive resorts (15 minutes walk to the city centre). The sunsets are spectacular. Recommended if you're on a budget and can't afford an expensive western standard hotel. I did not get bitten by bedbugs as stated in other reviews. Don't expected too much from the room if you’re not used to budget accommodations in SE Asia, and enjoy the location!!
The beach next to this hotel is nice for swimming (shallow in the first 50/100 metres depending on the day.
You can do offshore snorkelling just about 200 metres to the left side of the hotel (opposite to the city centre side). The corals are mostly dead but you can see some nice fish, a few sea cucumbers and lovely blue starfishes. I also saw a sea-snake. "
