Lodtunduh 3 Government School

Lodtunduh 3 Government School is an elementary school located in Lodtunduh village, Ubud, Bali. There are 146 students that attend the school and 40% of those come from low socioeconomic status backgrounds. There are 7 government teachers, 3 non government teachers that are paid under the basic wage.

All students learn English as a foreign language and are encouraged to use English regularly. Students also learn maths, science, sport, history, religion and Balinese language. All students are required to attend school daily, 6 days a week except on National and Bali holidays.

The high quality teachers at Lodtunduh 3 Government School encourage students to develop their skills according to the local needs. As well as this, students learn in a safe, welcoming and warm environment where their needs and interests are central to their learning. Equally as important, students learn to be respectful citizens who contribute to society.

Lodtunduh 3 Government School warmly welcomes monetary donations as well as stationery, furniture, library and sporting equipment. Non government teachers' wages depend on school funding. Teachers would like to improve the skill of the students in English and computer so it is our aim to have more computers and more tourists to visit our school and practice English with the students
