" The food was incredibly satisfying! We were craving mexican street food, and were not disappointed with a single item, and we're picky eaters. The tortilla was made in the house, toasted to that charred perfection. And the red salsa was a happy mix of sweet and spicy. Just go already, you won't regret it. Oh, and the price is more than reasonable. It's the portions that are going to surprise you. And they cater to vegans, so you can have beans instead of tofu! "

" We sat down on a Sunday evening, after walking through Monkey Forest & Ubud Markets for the day. Place is cosy & has pretty lighting for outside seating. Service was average, but food was AWESOME! Drinks were refreshingly cold. There were no signs that they only accept CASH, so that was a bit of a letdown. "

" The in Bali we only eat local food..... however, we have been converted to this little Mexican Restaurant. Thank god for the new parking regulations otherwise we wouldn't have parked the car further up the road and seen this place.
07 March 2018Had nachos and iced tea. Both delicious. The owner and staff were attentive and friendly.
I had to think bout this a lot, but I think the beef nachos was the best nachos I have EVER had - big call I know but this local version (which is true to its original) with 2 versions of corn chips and tender beef, great flavour and hot sauces on the table to take it to another level.
We only eat Balinese food when in Bali - and Mexican food at this place now!!!! "

The only negative is that the toilet is not reachable from the main building, you will get wet if it's raining. But this place is definitely worth it!
I will strongly recommend this place to anyone, even if your picky about your Mexican food! "

" A little, cosy mexican restaurant, just 100 meter from Ubud Palace. We tasted the new breakfast and lunch menu. Crustada three way's: with lettuce, scrambled eggs with a spicy pineapple-tomato salsa and eg sunny-side-up. Very tasty. And also tortilla filled with local (purple!) sweet potato, bacon, enchiladasauce and beans. Some chips and salad in the side. Very fresh, tasty food. Staff is very friendly. We recommend Kangen, Taco&Grill! "

" Tasted OK, just not what I had in mind. The crispy tacos are actually soft tortillas grilled a bit. There were tinned baked beans on the side (like Heinz baked beans but cold). Cold baked beans are a big no no for a Brit like me and obviously not what you would expect with tacos. Not authentic at all. Didn't have Mexican seasoning. There is a good place for authentic beef tacos to the south of Ubud nearer the monkey park. "

06 January 2017The owner is extremely friendly and has got so much information about Ubud. Ask him anything, he'll steer you in the right direction of activities, temples, daytrips and naturally beautiful places. He happily parked my bike, helped us choose what to order (because everything looked delicious), the portion sizes are generous and fairly priced.
Do not skip this place! We will be back "

" Highly recommend this Ubud jewel. Food is super tasty. Both the tacos and the ribs grilled on coconut shells we had were amazing. The owner Dewa is super nice and fun and willing to give you great tips on what to visit around Ubud besides the common sights. The restaurant is located on a less touristic street but still close to the center. We really enjoyed our dinner. "

" Loved this place. Agung is a super nice bloke and all of the staff were super lovely. Coming here and sipping on fresh juices in the garden was a highlight of our trip. The banana and chocolate spring rolls were to die for. Looking forward to popping in when we are back in town. "
