" Stayed at Kamuela at the end of a trip to really relax & unwind & this was the perfect place to do that. The villa was perfect with its own pool & the gardens were gorgeous. The staff are what really makes this place, so sweet & doing everything they can to make sure you have the best stay. The location is also great for anyone looking for a quieter bali but still with many great restaurants around. We will deinitely be back!!! "

" Service was excellent. The staff were amazing. Our villa had water damage on the ceiling and it leaked around the door between the bedroom and bathroom. The outdoor shower was nice but leaked when it rained and became muddy. When cleaning the room sometimes glasses were left behind. Overall the villa was tired and needed a major makeover. The bed was comfortable and the turn down surface was very welcome. Can’t fault the staff and their dedication. "

" We were so lucky to book one of the big suites on Agoda for a very good price for one night. The suite , the bed, jacuzzi, bathroom and living space everything is big. Bigger than the standard Indonesian hotels here in Sanur. Location is great, everything is in walking distance. Nice Breakfast was included. Service and hospitality are also very good. We would really recommend a stay here!
22 December 2017Reading the other reviews: yes you have to look down when you walk in the room or bathroom, sure sometimes fruit can be tasteless. But this is Asia.
After traveling for 2 months, for us this was the best place. "

" Lovely boutique property with restaurant onsite plus good size pool, only a short walk or bike ride away from Sanur beach. Lovely team of staff, where nothing was too much trouble! Delicious breakfasts, pizzas yummy and relaxing spa facility available - so very peaceful, even walking through gardens. Highly recommended! "

" We hired a pool villa at Kamuela Villa's Sanur. Beautiful villa's and a nice pool. Also a very own cocktailbar at your villa. The breakfast is also nice and the pool is also nice. The resort is very small but i like that. "

" Excellent and solid, fair prices, helpful staff (not overbearing "nice" thank goodness), neat, decent location and not the usual touristy trap place. Ideal if you want to mind your own business and not get overwhelmed with all kinds of extras/activities/entertainment.
18 October 2017The beds are heavenly, spaciousness the theme for the room and only the extremely annoying pedantic types will find fault with it.
Only noticeable drawback, outside of their control, is a small reggae themed bar accross the road that is a little noisy till late.... unless reggae is your thing. "

Continental breakfast could be improved. This island has such an amazing variety of tropical fruit to offer but the one served at the hotel was tasteless,,, I finally had to run to the supermarket down the street and ask the waitress to fix it for me,of course they were very kind to do it,,, but they never ask me why... or if it was something wrong with the fruit served by the hotel...
But generally speaking the place is nice,quite and in a excellent location. "

" Stayed on out honeymoon. On the first day we had a 3 hour spa treatment which was the perfect start. The Villa had a private pool and we chose to have a romantic private dinner in the villa. They filled the pool and bath with petals and lit candles for us. The staff are the most friendly I have had the pleasure of meeting. The breakfasts are great and flat white coffees are so smooth. Not a single bad moment in our stay and would recommend to everyone. If you're into running, there is a 4km path along the beach that is perfect for a run during the sunrise in the morning. "

" We chose the One Bedroom Villa with Pool (Villa #1) for our Honeymoon in Bali and received a very warm welcome with chocolate cake and wonderful flower decorations in our bedroom and bath. The Sanur Kamuela resort is situated in a tranquil spot and the private pool with overlooking trees is more than we could ask for. The breakfast menu is very customisable and delicious. Dinner is mid-priced compared to surrounding restaurants. The bath is large and has outdoor shower, absolutely no bugs. Lighting was a bit dim but the room was spacious and clean. The front desk staff were very helpful and helped us with money exchange. All staffs are friendly. The resort offered a good tour package and the driver, Mr. Madek, also acted as our guide and helped us understand the local custom and history. Overall, we are highly satisfied with our stay and are looking forward to going back again. "

" We have stayed at Kamuela on around seven occasions. We have made some really good life long friends there in the staff that work there. The grounds and the villas are beautiful and the food and service is the best. We never like to leave there and always look forward to returning. Everyone is very friendly and they can't do enough for you. I would thoroughly recommend staying there. "

" Amazing stay at the suite room..very huge room complete with big Jacuzzi, I stay there last week with my new wife, we enjoyed our honeymoon there, all staff very helpful and threat us with very excellent.
22 October 2012They have Caramel Restaurant which very busy every night, no wonder because the food taste very delicious..I recommend lamb medaliaon and sea food curry,,hmmm yummyyy.
Then don't forget to try the balinese massage at their spa, Sari and Dewi are our favorite therapist...Very recommended hotel for your honeymoon... "
