" The location is excellent but the hotel is very old. The authority does not allow uber or grab cars to pick up. You have to start early to catch up the flight "

" a good hotel. not so interesting for Bali. Bali has very amazing places to check out. It's a very touristy place. Would not advice to go unless you want to do standard touristy things. safe area but try canggu or ubud for alternate places "

" I have been here twice. Normal rooms are great, very comfortable beds and nice shower.

Garden suits I down recommend. They are twice larger but bed is very noisy. So it is not great for couples. Furniture is a bit old, but it maybe a Balinese special style.

The great advantage of the hotel - is the ocean. It is in few steps from you. "

" Spaceous clean rooms and good location by the beach. Food is not so bad at all and the pool is big with a sunken pool bar as a plus. Clean , green place with nice ambience and helpful , smiling, friendly staff. "

" By booking this hotel we didn`t expect anything special, just normal amd "ok" level in Seminiak. In fact it`s below "ok" in my private opinion. The reasons are stated below. Dspite description it`s closer to Changu -you need to spend min15 mins to get to Seminyak by bike.

ROOMS:
Do you rememeber how smells in countryhouse of your grand-grandma? Yes, it` the same here. On top of it a bit of smell of wet and humidity. Unfortunately it`s same in all rooms. My wife is pregnant and I was careful with conditions we may live - we checked 4 rooms- the same stuff everywhere. Towels are not changed even if you put it on the floor.
Furniture is old...very old. The bed is squeakig while your turn over- it wakes you up. Rooms coold be bright and shiny, but seems management is not interested in maintenance.

PERSONNEL:
Very kind. The care of the door-men, consierge is the best among all other things we got here. There was minor thing with booking Spa - they overbooked, but they found the solution how to sort it out. I would recommend to check your booking with SPA directly- do not rely on confirmation on reception.

FOOD:
It`s the best hotel ever if you want to loose your weight. Breakfast is so humble as you even getting shy to take any piece frm this semi-empty virgin plate. Juices seems are made of powder and are not tasty. Chicken sausages were extremely bad. Along with that staff is offering you tea and coffe and ready to bring you anything if you want -tumble up for them.

TERRITORY:
Good parking area near the entrance and it`s under security survilance. There are a lot of fountains and small ponds with fish on the territory. But you don`t care. It`s like 20' rims on our old heavily-breathing car - it`s useless when car doesn`t torch.
There is no access frm hotel to the ocean. There is hotel with swimming pool and sun-beds around, then fence, then sandy road (not active traffic) and afterwards beach and ocean.

General:
Hotel seems ok for people 50+ when they need calm atmosphere and are wise enought to ignore all minors stated above. It was noticed that the main visitors are elders.

Take care! "

" Home away from home. Great location as you are directly on the beach and can walk to the W, Potato Head and La Lucciola. Rooms on the 4th floor have sea views as do rooms 316 and 317. The rooms are clean and cool with a balcony or patio if you stay in a Garden Suite. It may not suit you if you want a modern resort as it is old school Bali - the way I like it. "

" We stayed in June 2016 for 1 week at Grand Balisana Suites. Great food, handy location, excellent staff and a really spacious room with balcony overlooking the fish ponds and lush gardens. Even the coffee was good. Spa and massage services in house to make for a great relaxing holiday. "

" We booked a deluxe garden view with sea views room.
No view only outlook onto massive concrete wall.
Room was dark , internal and oppressive and really distressing when expecting a view and paying for it. I was in tears at how dark and oppressive it was.Nothing like website at all.
Told reception and no offer of moving us when others vacated rooms with views who had paid same rate and leaving next next day so could have been moved.
Room 4 flights up stairs with no lift into dark corner facing concrete wall.
Arrived hot and went to swim at 6.45 and told pool closed no swimming Everywhere else we had stayed we could swim early
evening.
Wifi unavailable in most areas except lobby.
Asked for rice or nasi goreng for dinner and waiter said not available.
He kept pushing us to order expensive smokey meaty barbecue and kept hassling my husband to buy wine. we said no 8 times but kept pushing it.
20 minutes later lovely Indian family sat down beside us and ordered nasigoreng from same waiter and they were served it.
Stayed at many many places in Bali but never experienced the false advertising and terrible experience that we had at this place.
After the first night we never had another meal at Balisani again - ate out every night. Found lovely cafe/ restaurant just a stroll up the road called Watercress cafe
Will never go near the place again "

" Balisani is set in a quiet area surrounded by what looked like young jungle. The area feels out of the way to put you on the beach in a very balinese atmosphere. We enjoyed a few nights on our honeymoon and my wife was happy to find a clean spacious room with a calm and seemingly traditional decor.
The breakfast was just superb. A full buffet continental style. We are vegetarian and enjoyed eating from a good variety of fresh fruit, bread, cereals and juice with favourite cooked dishes available too.
At the hotel there were many middle aged couples and young families.
The staff are very helpful and can arrange vehicle rental. I would not recommend bargaining with the tourism lady - do it properly and book a good day tour beforehand. "

" The hotel is good, but I dont like it because I finde the price is to high for Bali. And to much tourists in this part of Bali. But usual Bali visitors should like it. I prefer the calm north. "
