" My partner and I decided to try their tasting menu a couple nights ago. The tasting menu (Rijsttafel) came with about 12 courses as you can see in the photos I’ve posted. We started with the chicken soup, and it was just amazing. We could just have the soup all day. Then there came the 10 courses of the mains, and most of them were very tasty, but beef rendang and duck satay were over-cooked and the meats were just very tough and dry. I recommend to have the beef rendang the last because of the overpowering of the flavor, it would make you not be able to taste anything. The dessert was rice pudding with ice cream. Very refreshing and just hit the spot! The staffs were very attentive and friendly. It was a great dining experience! "

" Stopped by Charming for a romantic dinner with my girlfriend, and walked out blown away by the experience. The starters were excellent and the service was fast. We shared the Fried Wontons and Seared Sliced Beef.
28 June 2017The main course stepped it up another level - the Lamb Fried Rice and Lamb Chop were to die for, and the Beef Rendeng was very flavorful.
Stuffed to the brim, we made a judgement call and opted to have dessert as well. The Banana Flambé did not disappoint, and we found our second stomachs as we devoured it all.
In addition to the excellent food, the restaurant's ambience and decor truly made dinner an experience. The outdoor and indoor sections worked well together, the outside creating the feeling of eating in a perfectly lit Balinese garden, the inside decorated with tasteful art. The most notable feature of the outdoor section is the way the tables are set up so that each table feels far away from the others. Trees and significant distance serve to provide the feeling of eating in private - we could not hear the other diners' conversations, and the chairs were set up so we did not look directly at them from our seats.
To cap off the night, the restaurant provided us with a free ride back to our hotel from their own driver. The ride was smooth, the car clean, and the driver safe.
This was our favorite restaurant we visited over the course of our two and a half weeks in Bali. We will be coming back. Thank you for the great experience! "
