" It's a dump. Go to Old Man's. They open and close when they want. The food is absolute garbage. Only good for getting a beer.

Better to go to a mini mart on the easy and amazing straight road in this section of Canggu for far less money.

Parking is 2 Rupiah for motorbikes and more for cars, so bring "small money" as they call it here.

The real action starts around midnight when the free DJ beach party begins.

If it isn't going that night, it is in nearby echo beach, and just ride a few minutes down.

This is just parking lot food, the service is terrible it sucks! "

" I usually leave my stuff in a locker before going surfing. It's free and I don't have to worry about a bunch of keys in my pocket while I'm in the ocean (it's just uncomfortable). Then I get a coconut/coke/water. I wish they would have a cleaner shower and toilet. Maybe they will someday. "

" Was fortunate enough to come across this restaurant on our first day in Bali. I ordered the Dragon Bowl and crepes (with butter and brown sugar). The Dragon Bowl was delicious - if you like Acai bowls (and I love them), this is very very similar and, in my opinion, even better.

The crepes are made with beet juice, which gives it a pink tint. Unlike crepes in the states, they give you the toppings on the side for you to put on yourself, which is great.

So far, this is my favorite place for breakfast on the island. "

" Excellent for a quick meal in a lovely paddy area! The local food is delicious here and it is cheap and cheerful. Park your scooter just in front of this place and have a seat in the back, where you can enjoy a lovely view. If it is blackout time in bali it will turn into a romantic candle-light dinner if you want or not ;-) "
