" Villa Bali Il Mare was a wonderful house! We were a large group (14) of college students that booked last minute, as we were staying in a different place in Bali.
06 June 2016The pool, tennis court (tennis rackets included!), and yoga pavilion were wonderful amenities. The bedrooms were large with king beds and had large wardrobes. The bathrooms were also large and featured a tub and walk in shower. The staff were also very accommodating and helped us book several excursions last minute, as well as any transportation we needed! Because we had a couple extra people staying with us than beds, the staff set up some extra mattresses in the rooms as well. There is a dive shop nearby that delivered food, as well as a pizza restaurant that had some very good pizza, so we didn't have to cook for ourselves every night.
Although we enjoyed our time here, there were a couple things that could be improved. Most areas of the house were very clean, but the bathrooms left more to be desired. The bedrooms had air conditioning and fans, but the main open area of the house did not, but during the day when we opened the patio doors and turned the fans on, it was very comfortable. The surrounding area was mostly local neighborhood, so to get to restaurants, markets, and other attractions like snorkeling/diving/etc., we had to book a car. The beach on the property isn't really a place to sunbathe or spend a day, but it was nice to walk down to the water. "
