" Can’t say enough good things about our morning with Mangku hiking Mt. Batur for sunrise. He had a van pick us up at 2:30am from our accommodations in Ubud and we hit the trail. Mangku is an expert in this terrain and is able to be flexible based on anyones abilities. Today we hiked a bit fast, but as he told us slow and steady is fastest. Mangku took pictures for my wife and I at sunset and throughout the hike once the sun came up and gave us difficulty options for the way down. FYI the hard route is not smooth or easy! He was also very knowledgeable about the history of Mt Batur and how the guide program benefits local villages and education for children, which makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Thank you for an incredible morning Mangku, hope we meet again! "
