The Watchmaker

" This place is unprofessional. I had to use many hours to find flaws, in 12 shirts and 2 three piece suits. Stitching was wrong and had to get adjusted more than once, stitches and threads was all over the place. Alot af details was not correct. If a mistake was in right side they tried to correct the mistake in the left side which is crazy, when the mistake is the other side. They had 10 days to make the things and we were there for 6 or 7 fittings because of so many mistakes. We used half of our holiday at the place, every time 3-5 hours. Even on the last day, when they thought they were good to go, I still found mistakes and they didn't correct them all.
Every suit and shirts and also my sisters things were full of charcoal marks. Every suit and shirt needs to get cleaned at a dry cleaning. The price isn't even cheap for what product you get and all the time you use at the place. I would rather spend double the money for better service and less time at the place. "

" Bought 2 suits from here on my Bali trip and was not disappointed. The starting prices are very high so be sure to bargain to something more reasonable.

Their quality of work was superb as i had no problems after my initial measurements. I used their free pickup/drop off service for my 2nd and final fittings without any issues. Their response on whatsapp is quick and efficient.

Out of the 3 visits I had, the final fit/pick up was the least organized. The pre discussed time was pushed back an hour (I assume due to lack of a driver which is understandable) but when I got in nobody seemed to know why I was there. The driver was also late even after the pickup time was pushed.

If the 3rd day service was as fantastic as the other 2 days, this review would have been a 5/5. If I ever get the chance, I'd come back to Anika to make another suit. "

" Went with my friend to Anika Tailor to have some garments made as we were happy with the results on our last trip to Bali.I had bought some beautiful fabric from Alto Moda , which must be see to be believed, storey after storey of every fabric imaginable. I had cut a picture of a lace dress from a magazine and the dress is just gorgeous.I also took a favourite blouse which was copied perfectly. My friend just scribbled a rough sketch of an evening jacket and was elated that it turned out better than she had hoped for. We were really impressed with our new garments and look forward to our next trip to Bali so we can have more made. Also grateful for collecting us at our hotel for our fitting and taking us back. "

Then we discussed materials and got to see the workers to ensure no unfair work practice was being used. After that our measurements were taken and we discussed prices. We managed get two full suits for a great price and have been completely satisfied with the quality. My only regret is that I did not get more suits made. " By far the best tailor in Kuta, Bali. Very friendly staff. The suit costs more compared to others, but you won't regret it. Production takes about 3-4 days, maybe another 1-2 visits for fitting. Very nice quality, wide range of colors, buttons etc. I would totally recommend Anika to everyone looking for a new suit. Really happy with it. Also very nice dresses ;-) "
