" Tanah Abang, sometimes written as Tanahabang Station (THB) is a train station located in Kampung Bali, Tanah Abang. This station located to the east of West Flood Canal. The station and the canal are only separated by a small, narrow embankment and as such, Tanah Abang station is prone to flooding, especially during the heavy rain station. "

" So crowded in rush hours. Transit place. Luckily, never had so much trouble with the train "
24 January 2018Anynomous
" One of the more modern train stations in Jakarta, but still overcapacity during peak hours. There are two exits: one at the south (nearer to Pasar Tanah Abang) and the newer one at the north. If you just arrive here and want to rush to the north exit, you may better take the stairs instead of queuing for the escalator.
09 December 2017If you want to take online motortaxi/ojek, you must go through the north exit, ignore all non-online ojek, and walk until you reach a small bus stop (people normally call it halte kecil or kapal api)
If your destination is along Bekasi line, you should go to Gondangdia instead. Though it is as crowded inside the train, you don’t have to transit at Manggarai. "
