Great park at the outskirt of the metropolitan; give you the chance to chill, to learn the Indonesian culture & heritage, and to practise almost whatever your hobby is. This place boasts several unique buildings and big halls that could also be booked for your wedding day or for whatever reasons that might suit you. Enjoy TMII! And welcome to Jakarta!

Paul Brisk (28/04/2018 01:30)
Worth a visit with an area representing each province of Indonesia. But the place is huge, too big to just walk around. We rented bikes available just past the main entrance. That worked but the bikes did not have working gears or brakes - not that it really mattered as the place is generally flat.

The concept is ambitious: provide visitors with a glimpse into the wide variety of geography that is Indonesia.
First step before you venture in is to take one of the two gondola rides and appreciate the size of this theme park. Overhead you can see the many "mini" communities built to showcase the local people and their cultures across the various Indonesian archipelago.
You will find a water-park, a big pond in the middle of the park that represents the ocean and smaller islands are built to model the various Indonesian islands (Borneo, Sulawesi, Sumatra, etc).
As you marvel at the scale and the flora, you'd be a bit saddened to find the some of these are just abandoned.
Yes, the park is great and you will literally spend two days here trying to explore everything; it has become somewhat a place for the locals to just chill and for school children to get bussed in for their social studies outings.
The experience is a let-down for foreigners. Your choice for food is very limited and the signage and guidance is sorely lacking. We spent nearly 20 minutes searching for a taxi stand!
There is a bus that goes around but we only found it by chance!
Poor pavement meant that our stroller had a workout.
I really think you should visit this park but make sure you pack your lunch and lots of water bottles.

Best place to spend a day outdoors. Massive territory with many options of transportation. From bicycles and motorbikes to rent to buses, trains etc. Taman Mini Indonesia is the place where visitor is able to find out and understand culture of different ethnic groups of Indonesia. You can easily spend whole day exploring that beauties.
Place is a must and very highly recommended.

Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, benar" seperti miniaturnya Indonesia. Semua tentang Indonesia ada disini dlm versi mininya. Setiap miniatur kota memiliki konten lengkap ttg kota itu sendiri. Rumah adatnya bagus". Pkknya klo mau belajar dan tau banyak ttg Indonesia ya kesini aja. Org tua suka, anak" pun suka. And no worries about food, there are plenty of food stalls available. it was such a great experience 👍👍

Still needs some improvement here and there but they renewing bit by bit. A lot of interesting and informative place for children. You may need to pay here and there because entrance fee just to enjoy traditional houses and go around with car or motorcycle but you don't have to pay what you don't want. And mostly pretty cheap for museums.

Samantha Wang (16/03/2018 03:45)
Very pretty park. The cable car ride was really fun, and the view you get from above is amazing. There are many museums inside that don't require additional fees that you can walk in to. Some of them have volunteer guides to chat with you in English. There are lots of photogenic spots for nice pictures. It's really big so be prepared to do lots of walking! Overall nice experience.

The name represents its content.. The mini Indonesia summarize in one place.
This is a legendary place for family recreational trip.
If you seek a place to spend with your family and learn Indonesia culture, this place is recommended for you.
The cleanliness of the place needs a lot of improvements.
The entrance fee is cheap, but you must to pay for every place here and there so the sum of money spent will be much.

So many facilities need to be renewed.
Hope Taman Mini will keep improving more and more so it will bring more convenience to the visitors.

Akhmad Avron (21/02/2018 04:41)
This place is really like mini of Indonesia. You can bring your children here to introduce about Indonesia. Not only traditional houses or building, there are also museum, bird park, amusement park, and other places you should visit or try, including the iconic cable car. No worries about food, there are plenty of food stalls available. Also the parking lots is available everywhere. In short, it is a complete destination for you and family to spent one day vacation.

Best place to visit in Jakarta. A major tourist attraction. It portrays the various tribes and cultures of Indonesia. A must visit and first visit place in Indonesia.

Awie WahanaStoreCom (10/11/2017 12:57)
The most popular place to have recreation with family in Jakarta. As its name suggests, this theme park has artificial islands of Indonesia, tribe house of all Indonesian, and so on.
There are interesting places to visit, one of which is Snowbay Water Recreation. Here we can enjoy artificial waves, water slide, fountain, and so forth.

Sakti RM Sitindaon (06/10/2017 06:22)
Contains of the culture and local building from all of the province in Indonesia. We can rent the place though. There's lake and others spot here. It's rather a big places. We can see around and see many attractions here. Many events held here in weekends.

probo andrian (20/09/2017 13:27)
Nice place to spend time with your family. You can educate your kids about culture of indonesia. Entrance fee? Affordable.. Is there any restaurant inside? Off course yes. Sufficient park space? Yes

Renga Nathan (17/09/2017 15:27)
A good zoo covering hundreds of hectares. Excellent place to see wild animals in jungle environment. The same place also features many historical and cultural aspects. To enjoy the place, 1 to 3 days are a must.

Kuntoaji Hari Perdani (02/09/2017 11:00)
Indonesia's beauty on minis park. Lovely. Some attraction are not good condition and too many parking staff even it said free parking.

aditya rahman (30/08/2017 01:52)
Taman Mini Indonesia is a beautiful replica of the Indonesian Archipelago that stretches from Sabang to Merauke island. If you do not have time to do visit all islands, please visit this place. You can find custom homes from all provinces in Indonesia. Visit Indonesia and enjoy its beauty

Ersandi Al Asra (29/08/2017 12:16)
One of the oldest and the biggest theme park. It is so Indonesia and represent all provinces. Much thing could be improved to attract more tourists

novie6rasa gunawan (05/08/2017 23:11)
Many thing to see also mother friendly (many bench to sit) but need more organized parking slot especially when people rent to make an event. But still good place to bring your children to know Indonesia

corputty maria (24/07/2017 06:34)
The Miniature of Indonesia is here. Nice place for you to learn about Indonesian culture. There are also have museums and some interesting play ground for children.

Jane Angran (30/06/2017 04:43)
This place consists of museums, garden, and replica of traditional houses from provinces in Indonesia. It is also good for educational trip. If you want to look around, you can walk or take some vehicles (mini bus, mini train, or rent motorcycle)

Karl Nartates (23/06/2017 17:29)
If you don't have time to see all of Indonesia, Taman mini is a great place to go to experience the various cultures and local ethnic traditions. It's great for photos and am overall great learning experience. Cheap entrance fee but must have a car to get around this park

evan prajongko (22/06/2017 01:18)
It is the best choice to learn about Indonesia in the one place. But the street is so small. I think the lake need to clean up because the smell was so disgusting.
You need more than one day to deeply learning one by one of this place.

Kees Poelman (21/06/2017 20:38)
Excellent place if you want to have an overall favour of the main Indonesian islands in one day. To get there may be a traffic challenge. Sunday morning is the best time. Take your time to have a look around and enjoy a lunch at the Madiun restaurant. The state of maintenance could, overall, be better. Also, to increase the accessibility, management might consider to have all cars parked at the parking lot and organise hop on hop off transportation in the park.
Overall: great to spend a day there!

Sunny Ineza (20/06/2017 10:36)
Avoid to go here when holiday. Because it will very crowded and hard to park your car 😅
But the place is good for vacation with your family. And it has many museum so your children will learn a lot by once visit.

Athallah Arsyaf (15/04/2017 10:11)
Great place to be with families. Not only it is educational in terms of culture and history, there's virtually no end to what can be done in TMII. The museums and attractions are in wide variety and some of them are excellent - only several times poorly maintained. One day is simply not enough to get to know this park as a whole. Its like Disneyland, but there's no rides and everything is about Indonesia. Oh! There's also a bird park inside which I believe is the only legitimate bird park in Jakarta.

Sid Kelly (11/04/2017 18:29)
I honestly don't get why Jkt people seem to be so proud of this park?

I attended a wedding in one of the reception halls several months ago. It was very ordinary.

This place is such a source of pride to the majority of people that live in Jakarta. Okay each to their own.

Taufan Dermawan (04/04/2017 08:40)
A great place for a short tour. Especially for family who love cultural attractions. Tickets are cheap. Some attraction might be require additional ticket purchasing on location. Price may vary from 10.000 rupiahs to 250.000 rupiahs.

Yulia Rahmawati (01/04/2017 17:26)
Literally the mini size of Indonesia. A good place to learn many things about Indonesia. There are also many kind of museum. Good place to bring kids.

Steve L (28/03/2017 12:07)
Good place to spend a day. A lot of nice places to visit. Addmission is affordable to expensive (depends on the place). Pretty clean and spacious during weekdays.

Muhamad Yusuf (23/02/2017 16:33)
Its the mini version of Indonesian archipelago. Very recommended for people/tourist who wanted to visit indonesia and enjoy its culture in just one day. Ticket is cheap, great facilities, many indoor and outdoor entertainment, and of course indonesian and international foods are available to indulge your appetite.

Justin van Schaick (14/02/2017 08:51)
There are some beautiful buildings here from various parts of Indonesia and a number of museums. You will need to get here early because this place is enormous. I found the park confusing due to a lack of signing and (good) sidewalks. The focus seems to be on moving through the park on scooter rather than walking; no one seems to walk in this country, even in a theme park. Large parts of the park are rundown or require maintenance and facilities such as restrooms are hard to find and filthy.

Heng Yue (29/01/2017 05:57)
As you know Indonesia has many islands. Most of islands have different culture and all the cultures and architectural designs you can see and can get rough idea about their culture and also their way of life. Plenty of things to enjoy.

tri nugraha sukanto (25/10/2016 04:57)
As its name, it is a mini replica of Indonesia.
There are pavilions which represent every province in Indonesia.
There are also museums that you can visit, which all of them show the diversity of Indonesia. From insects, birds, transportation, until reptile museum.
There is cable car at this place from air view. You can also use a bus or small train to see around this place from the ground.
In the past, this place was a main destination for many people in holiday season. But now, it seems people switch to malls. So you may see some buildings are not maintained very well.

Karina Anisa (07/10/2016 06:04)
Lots of childhood memories visiting this place as part of a school trip. I also have visited the place multiples times as an adult. I especially liked all the traditional houses both then and now. They were colorful, intricately decorated, and unique, showing the various charms of the different regions in Indonesia. Although I'd say there's still a lot of room to grow in terms of facilities and services, but so far this place has a lot of potential and entertaining for all ages

Jana M (17/09/2016 14:48)
The park is nice to get an overview about the variety of culture in Indonesia. But for a foreigner it's hard to find the right directions etc. because everything is written in Bahasa Indonesia.
The park is so big, so you should plan your trip in order you can see everything you want to see.

Arnold Saputra (12/09/2016 12:50)
Best place at Jakarta to hunting Pokemon. You can learn about Indonesian culture too at TMII. To access this place you can use Highway or busway to Taman Mini.

Sigit Satrio (31/08/2016 22:34)
Tempat cari angin dan cari pokemon

Kelvin (22/08/2016 10:23)
This place has a really good potential of becoming a world class theme park. However, the reality is that most of the attractions are neglected and not maintained well. The worst was the Museum Prajurit, which was completely empty when I visited (not even guards inside the museum), with dark lighting, dirty artifacts, vandalism everywhere. The only place worth visiting is perhaps the Keong Mas IMAX auditorium.

Rendra Budi Hutama (20/08/2016 16:23)
I'm sure a day is not enough to visit all object. So you should plan exactly what do you want to visit. For the first timer, you should try cable car, It will bring you to know whole area of TMII and of course the view of Nusantara Islands miniature couldn't be missed too.

Bambang Eko Nugroho (31/05/2016 04:43)
If you want to know visually on how this country looks like in terms of the houses, clothes, as well as other attributes, you have chosen the right place to visit. Here, you will be enriched by seeing the replica of our traditional houses, clothes, weapons, even sometimes with the replica of the original writings, since Indonesia indeed consists of so many tribes that has so many different traditional languages, houses, clothes, etc. Even in one language spoken; Javanese language, it is differently spoken and accent from one region to another region in Java. Once you have come and see it for yourself, you can decide your trip to the real location to gain your real life experience of that particular place. Taman Mini Indonesia Indah is indeed the mini format of Indonesia. Enjoy!!!

So vast. So much knowledge u can get at this place. Good for a jog and etc. But u have to pay a ticket if u want to go here.

Bi'ru Zamzama (15/05/2016 01:26)
Tempat nya baguss.. 😍😍😍

Sunartriasih S (14/05/2016 00:03)
I've been living in really near distance from TMII for almost 22 years (30 years for my family), so I really know well how TMII has been establishing development for its arena. A really crowd and busy place in weekend but really quiet in Monday to Tuesday. For those who love quietness, best not coming on weekend.

Zia ul haq (09/04/2016 08:06)
Loved this place. Still regret that I turned down the offer from motorbike vendors to hire one. This place is so massive that I could hardly cover half of it on my feet.

Couple of things I enjoyed - bird park and cable car ride.
