The Suan Thai In Lippo Mall is not too bad but felt it was not authentic enough. Usually when you have a Mango Salad it can be a bit spicy and leave a tingling feeling on your lips but this did not as they did not use enough chili.
The fish cakes and cassava were very nice and enjoyable. Try the Tom Yum soup as it very nice with plenty ingredients.
Come here for a snack and you will feel satisfied.

My family was in the mood for Thai and we had bad experience in one of the Thai restaurants in the same mall. This place gets crowded during the weekend consistently so we thought we’d give them a try. The tom yum kung came with clear red soup (not the curri-ed version) and we ordered the half portion, enough for three people. They’re generous with the shrimps and mushrooms. The fish with mango is also nice, i particularly love the deep-fried anchovies. Pad thai is too sweet for me. Service is okay but a waiter was standing next to me and he smelled of bad body odor. Prices are a bit expensive but the food was well worth it.

Thai food at Lippo Mal Puri
A busy thai food resto at the lower ground. Pineapple fried rice is ok, small portion, although not the best in town. Som Tam (young papaya salad) is not so juicy, perhaps marinated for too long. That’s the best thai food you can find in this new giant mall. Went to Suan Thai at Melawai years ago, glad to know that they are thriving and expanding. Hope they can improve the authenticity of the taste rather than transforming it into Chinese food driver by errrr market.
