One of main transit train station at Jakarta.
So trains only stop around 15 minutes here to drop and pick-up passengers.

One of big station in Jakarta, located near monument national (monas) the icon of Jakarta.
U can used buses to connected to SHIA (soekarno hatta intl airport) or another public transportation

The train station is more and more ordered now. And there are so many well known choices of cafes and restaurants. The waiting area is nice with plenty of chair to sit. Convenience stores are at both south and north entrance. Better prepared for mineral water and some snack. Be ready with ticket and I'd card to enter the platform

Gambir railway station located near to silang monas, National Monument. Just a walking distance to United Stated (US) Embassy and Balai kota (Greater Jakarta Province Governance Office)
The trains which depart/ arrive in gambir are long haul train such as from surabaya, yogyakarta, bandung, cirebon and semarang.
Gambir station is a hub to airport too. Traveller may depart to bandara soetta by Dinas Angkutan Motor Republik Indonesia (DAMRI)
There are 2 Transjakarta , Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) stops, one located at medan merdeka timur after the gambir car exit and the other stop located at silang monas near to gambir railway enterance.
Thats many of facilities in Gambir station include railway transit hotel, shower and locker facilities at 2nd Floor
For the tired muscles, travellers may try reflexology massages at 1st Floor besides tons of food choices such as Bakmi GM (noodle shop), Mc Donalds, Starbucks Coffee, Krispy Kremes Doughnut, Bread Life bakery and some 24hrs convinence store like Indomaret and Alfamart

Biggest train station in Jakarta even in Indonesia. Have many food tenants, convention store, even transit hotel. Have 3 floor level.

Clean station. The food stalls offer various traditional and fast food. For Muslims, there is a wide mosque at the opposite of the station.

This is my first time departing from Gambir Station. As expected, this station is much cleaner, more sophisticated, and more efficient than other stations such as Pasar Senen or Tanah Abang station. The service from KAI overall is better than I expect, this applies for the service I got in other stations. Good job! Hope KAI would improve quality in other areas and other stations :)

Huge Train Station in Central Jakarta. Nice station, clean toilet, have a lot of stores, restaurants, ATM, have a busway shelter as well.

I believe this is the best station in Jakarta, very clean. Only executive-class trains will pass and stop here. A lot of stores, restaurants, and ATM to make travelers enjoy preparing their trip. Don't worry you can go to and from here by many transportation options such as taxi, bus, and transjakarta

I like this station very much, clean toilet, variety of food sold or served here, nice place.
