Great ambience, live music start around 8 pm. Great music, great beer, great food. Def worth for spending weekend and hang out with friends! Our fave is lager and dark beer, best beer in town :)

an affordable price for foods and beverages. it’s nice because they divided the smoking and non-smoking area. Dark Beer tastes so good and soft. and don’t forget to try the pork belly, it makes you wanna come there again.

Still the most European bar in Jakarta.. The beer is ok.. The food not bad.. Its too noisy after the live music start.. So don't expect to have a nice talk with friends.. Better sit quietly and enjoy the music.. Or find quieter place

Nice German restaurant in Jakarta. Their beer is awesome!
Most of the foods here contain pork, with amazing taste & big portion for 1 people per serve. At night, they usually have some communities watching sports together & live music band. At day, lots of families & Kids.

Great place for beer and their food is also quite okay. Large smoking section, but ventilation is so so. Conversely, the non smoking section is great until they have live music on stage which tends to get overloud. That said, the prices carry quite a premium, luckily their glasses are big and the portions quite generous. Location is quite central and overall place is quite cozy so that's why it tends to be packed all the time.

Love those sausages and pork knuckles! The beer was absolutely worth every drop! Especially, I adore the Harry Potter themed ice cream. For the love of God, it had it's own Golden Snitch!

Went here two days ago. Service was excellent. Incredible meal with great quality and taste. We've been here many times and never had a bad meal. We will be back for sure.

The place is cozy and neat. There's a great live music performance. Suitable for spending your time on Friday night. Drinking good beer and hearing live music.

This restaurant is the best culinary for German foods. As my husband is German and when he is missing German food, we always come to this place and most of the time we are coming on Sunday night or Saturday afternoon for brunch. When we entered the restaurant the hostess remember us as a regular guest; they have a warm welcome as a hospitality person. The service is excellent; the food is delicious, the band on Sunday called melody is our favorite too. There was one lovely waitress which doing on job training called Reza is very friendly and helpful. He is always in a positive mood and happy when he is working. Hopefully, he will be a successful person with his carrier in the hospitality industry. Good Job Paulaner Team.

Oh My!!! What can i say abut this place. Just hear/read the name make me wanna go there again and again... Very nice Beer, any kind of their beer. Especially their Wiebbier. So delicious crispy pork belly.... Good band...

The food here is quite expensive, but the taste is really good, so the price is worth it. The specialty food here is pork, so you definitely have to try that there. The pork belly skin is crispy, and the meat is really soft. The pork sausage is perfectly seasoned. Recommended!

Great service, delicious food, amazing beer, awesome view from the smoking tables (fortunately I do smoke), what more could you ask for?
Did you say toilets? Oh they have clean ones. Don't worry.

Cozy place to have a sit, hangout, chitchat and drink beers with peers. It's not a proper place to those who can't stand smoke.
Their mixed beer taste really good. Recommended.

If you have never been here. You should. They serve high quality pork dishes. Pork sausages, pork chops, and pork belly.. all delicious... and the beers...love them all..try the dunkel!

German themed eatery, meats and beer are the menu served by German costumed waiters and waitresses.
Service : 4/5 services was friendly
Taste : 4/5 quite good if meat is your thing, lots of German beer yeay!
Atmosphere : 2/5 the music is too damn loud for any decent.. For any conversation.
Prices : 2/5 expensive of course, as expected.
Seats : 3/5 plenty of seats indoor

Great spot to have a great conversation with friends or date. Good ambiance and food is also very good. There's live music there as well during certain peak hours. They serve Paulaner beer as well.

My personal favorite watering hole. 1 liter Paulaner dunkel bier (dark beer) is the best. Scrumptious pork meals too.

Porsi besar a la orang Jerman, cocok buat saya sekeluarga yang pada doyan makan :) Restoran ini pas banget untuk weekend bersama keluarga, atau hangout dgn teman2. Porsi makanan yang besar bisa di-share bersama teman dan keluarga.
Untuk business luch juga cocok, kalau hari kerja tidak terlalu ramai (malah cenderung sepi) sehingga bisa ngobrol enak dengan klien. Dan kalau ingin quick lunch, ada beberapa pilihan menu yang cocok untuk orang sibuk tidak bisa berlama-lama makan siang!

Definitely a must try bar! There is a live music! The atmosphere inside is very nice and cozy. A great place to hang out with friends. But if you can't bear with noisy chatting or exaggerating screaming, don't go here. They has their own specialty Paulaner homemade brewed beer! So tasty and you should try it (for those who love beers)! What you can expect? The pork knuckle! It's so juicy and delicious.

Good place to hangout, chill, and have a glass of beer (or maybe more). There is a live music going on especially on weekend. Got their own version of rootbeer and mango beer, which is quite well known for its uniqueness. Usually there are crowds queuing here.

Always the best bar in Jakarta for watch football matches with German cuisine. People also can enjoy best beer in this bar where it brewed just in the building. Totally best place to hang out

Was here for lunch. Do not expect that it has several vacant seats (I already made an reservation on Chope). The crispy pork belly absolutely the best! Don't forget to order the beer here. It has its own toilet, which is good considering when you drink beer you will make a pee easier. =D

On weekdays they serve quick lunch menu at Rp. 99k++ including soft drink, you can select your chicken or pork favourite. I had pork platters this time, a plate with mashed potato, cabbage, two kind of german sausages, cured pork, and a small chunk of pork knuckles.
To me, serving is not as said a quick lunch even when the place is not too crowded.

Love it from back in the day it still in the ground floor. It was a bit darker then with more expat. Nowadays everyone are here. Love their dunkel beer, crispy pork knuckle and their pretzel.

The beers are excellent. Like many Germany things, it is work of art!
The service was as great as usual with a touch of Bavarian warmness.
The food timing were also punctual to the dots, considering it was not too busy when we arrived.
But, (don't get your hopes up too much)
The pork knuckle was kind of disappointing, they adjusted to the "local taste" instead of the "German taste". Not too worthy of price.
The sauerkraut was also not too sour as I tasted it before although it was still one of my favorites food.
The diameter of the sausages were also a bit downsizing, maybe because of price adjustments?
Overall, only because they maintain the quality of the beers and the great service I certainly will go back again.

Beer and German authentic Food. Combinations of Beer and Pork is just amazing and the germans do it well. The wheat beer is fruity and it has a sweet after taste which is fantastic to drink. And they have happy hour deal buy 2 beers get 1 free beer. Cheers

The music are up-to-date and unbelievable good band. Pork knuckle is the prime there. Beer is okay served in very big size, has its own unique in Jakarta. Dont forget to bring jacket, coz its very cold there...

The service is somewhat poor when they're crowded therefore I suggest getting a reservation if you plan to go here on weekends. I personally go here on weekdays since it's not too crowded. I've had the pork belly, pork neck, hunter style Jaegerschnitsel, the Paulaner platter and all of them are good. The food is good. It's worth it. Their home brewed beer is nice and reasonably priced. I personally prefer the dunkel.

This place is always crowded so do make sure you make a reservation before you come. I think they do not let people reserve all table keeping some for walk in customer but that would depend on your luck. Coming here might be traffic, I would suggest you plan properly before you visit this place.
Best choice are their beer, pork knuckle and sausage. Always enjoy meal at this place, highly recommended to try.

Paulaner is situated in Grand Indonesia. (somewhat bit difficult to find out for first-timer - at least you can ask). There are 3 types of beer, which I like those all. There are also alcohol / liqueur - a good plan!
The favorite dish is pork knuckle, where we can order a large portion for group sharing.
It's loud over there, and quite a good view from smoking area.
The theme is all German style.
I come with in group, and we enjoy so much the environment.

Smoking and non smoking practically in the same room. Had to get up and asked for mustard after my food arrived. Service was typical of restaurants in Indonesia, which is to say subpar when compared with American diners and above.
Ordered the radler for a drink, at $7 per half liter it was just so so. Too sweet for my taste but others may like it. So I'm not marking them down for the drink based on my personal preference.
For food I had the crispy pork belly with the potatoes replaced by spaetzle. All of the dishes should come with the spaetzle, which is excellent here. The pork belly was pretty okay. Under-seasoned, as in not salted whatsoever (hence my urgent need for mustard) . The crackling part was crispy but definitely could do with a little better cooking. There is a thin layer of the fat that is slightly undercooked and become sticky. It just sticks to your teeth like caramel taffy.

The ambience, the taste, and the kind staffs... forget being in Indonesia for a while! Love the schnitzel!
The design of the whole place is committed to make an atmosphere of a pub outside Indonesia. You'll forget you are in mall.
For the crispy pork knucle, the "crispy" part might be a little tough but the meat is tender and tasty.
The staffs have a passion to serve. They are attentive and always offer to help.

Pork n Beer! Try their pork knuckles and sausages. Not a big fan of live music (very loud) and starts early at 8pm. There is a special room for smoking.
Babi dan bir, coba pork knuckles dan sosisnya! Live music mulai sedikit lebih early dr yg kita duga (awalnya rencana utk hangout dan ngobrol) dan agak sedikit kenceng suaranya. Ada ruangan spesial utk perokok.

What can I say about this place other than I LOVE IT !! Here's my summary review of Paulaner Brauhaus.
Place : Right on the Grand Indonesia East Mall. I have no complain finding it or getting there whenever I'm in Jakarta. The flavor of their beer and sausages might have led me to it.
Cleanliness : Clean. It doesn't have that distinctive old beer-house smell.
Food (& Beer) : Delicious food and great beer. Wide selections on both food and beer with high quality that makes it Paulaner. I will post several pictures but pictures just don't do the food and beer justice. It's a definite WIN.
Price : a bit on the high-end on my scale. but i do love a great beer.
Overall : 9/10. a certifiable WIN. A never-miss spot whenever I'm in town.
