Well, it's a subway station with complete facilities. The only drawback is that they seem to "accomodate" the rabid ojek motor taxi and bajaj drivers who puts extraordinary fares for even short distance. Tips from me are, if you want to order online ride service (Go Jek, Grab/Uber) you gotta specify that you're waiting on the nearby Haji la Tunrung Money changer, the Go Jek drivers are already there and cars can stop there easily. Second, if you're arriving there make sure you enter from the north gate because the stairs going up is located there, the stairs going down leads you to the south gate. Third, make sure you've bought a train ticket (THB, multi trip card, or bank-issued e moneys) before arriving in this station if you came from outside Jakarta, people are crowding over the ticket machine. And fourth, the subway does NOT stop at Gambir station, only long-haul trains stop there. Overall facilites are good, the toilets are decent (for my standards of course), the entry gates functions properly, the guards are nice and willing to help. But as it goes with every subways, expect overcrowd in busy hours.

Tha station is nice. However, the management decided to "play nice" to the tenants. They make sure the commercial area is crowded by passengers, making passengers have no option but to walk twice the actual distance. To put more details, this is a 3-storey building with 2 gates; south and north. Passengers coming in from the south gate have to walk the entire length of the station from south to north. It is the only way the passengers can find stairs to the the second floor.

If you are on a commuter and will continue the trip by train leaving from Gambir Station, then you can get off at this station or at Gondangdia Station. This station is named Juanda as a tribute to the last Prime Minister of the Republic of Indonesia, Djuanda Kartawidjaja.
If you get off the station platform, then you will see hundreds of ojek pangkalan or conventional motorcycle taxi drivers calling for passengers. If you choose to use an online motorcycle taxi service (Gojek, Uber), then you have to walk a little way out of the station complex and wait at the nearby Circle-K outlet.

Several dining shop with proper coffee and food... Spacious (ladies) toilet, along with gender wise Musholla room. Parking lot available with reasonable price, there's pedestrian bridge directly to transjakarta Juanda station and Istiqlal mosque, walking distance to veteran road, and small souvenir shop in the corner of the station...

Big and clean train station. Right in front of main exit gate is Halte Busway Juanda. Therefore, switching from Commuter Line to Transjakarta (or vice versa) is fairly easy.
There are many cafes and convenient stores in the station. There are two mushollas (praying room), one is on the ground floor and the other is on first floor. The last time I was there, the water for wudhu on the first is salty, but the water on the ground floor is normal

I come here to pick up a friend. There is spacious parking space for cars (across the station). The station itself seems clean. The toilet is cleaned often (I see there is a staff that is on duty every time I visit here). There are also minimarkets, some affordable restaurants/bakery, ATM Center.

One of the best commuter line station I guess. It has more store/ food tenant and much cleaner than the others. From here you just a step away to the famous Masjid Istiqlal. Same with few other station it has queue line for passengers

The hectic station when working hours. Good prayer room and other nice facilities. Near Istiqlal and Istana Negara.

Sekarang ada jalur hijaunya demi ketertiban keluar masuk pintu krl. Kalau mau tertib, ikuti panah-panahnya. Namun tidak semua orang memperhatikannya. Kurang sosialisasinya kali yaa

My favorite station among other as it's the easiest place to reach when I need to go from Bekasi-West/Central Jakarta (which you can reach by Transjakarta or other transportation, my choice is online motorcycle).
The place is always clean, there's food stall (which I don't recommend because most of them is pricey, you can go outside the station and walk a bit to find other various food!), prayer room, and easy access.
If you wish to reach Gambir station by foot, I recommend you to go from this station.
plus point: you can watch Monas while waiting for the train.

This station give you good vibes. Inside, you can feel that it's really different from the outside. It feels like you're not in indonesia

Love this station. Clean and organize. The location is good also, you can walk from here to gambir just 10 minutes.

Near to Juanda Halte. I went here to go to Monas, from East Jakarta.

Very crowded when peak hours. This stasion needs to get some more improvisation in people movement.

I don't know how it looks like when it is in the usual working days since I don't use commuter line on a regular basis, but I just accidentaly stepped in on a day-off to ride a train and was mesmerised by the space's interior. It's fascinating to see public spaces designed with a good consideration of aesthatics aside from just functions and human-oriented elements. It's all blue, it's kinda wes anderson-esque for his 'darjeeling limited' films colour scheme.

Pros
1. Next from Gambir, same quality. Clean and neat
2. Food tenant, prayer room and toilet available. But there's no rest room
3. Has many automatic gate system, can accommodate on peak hours
4. Connected to Metro Bus
5. Has many ATM

It's crowded when peak season. The building is good, has ticket vending machines and ticket counter, spacious area, food shops, even barber. The platform is clean and provide enough benches.
