This is a hotel budget but the location is okay because it’s a walking distance to the shopping mall, Mangga Dua square and also less than 1 km distance to another famous local market ITC Mangga Dua for your shopping spree. Beside that, it’s walking distance to Ancol amusement park in Jakarta. In the evening nearby this hotel you will find a street food but mostly chinese food. There are some convenience store nearby the hotel too.

It's good room actually, but poor services. So many silly mistakes and bad management.
Breakfast was okay.

Please be responsible to your room cleanliness. I was in 910 and flea are everywhere in my bed. Dont make your customer regret to stay or spent night here.

Terrible service, bad attitude. Hotel itself has a lot of issues : room has ants, toilet exhaust spoiling and spraying dirty water all over. When calling to get receptionist to settle the problems, I needed to call 3-4 times, some times getting ignored, only dared to answer when we sent someone downstairs before taking 30-50 mins to send someone up. Lack of facilities, when asking for certain amenities/ services, receptionist gave bad attitude and rude comments+ refused/charged money(originally unnecessary, when asked the first time it was free) definitely would NOT recommend this hotel AT ALL.

Standard lunch, standard taste, even without voucher, it is cheap already. Have lot of room to improve. Even ala carte in some decent restaurant cost higher than this. Way too far to became one of culinary journey spot.

My rating is only about the restaurant inside the hotel. Yet to spend the night at the hotel (maybe in the future). I came to the restaurant to enjoy all-you-can-eat lunch with a group of 8. There were many dishes to choose from. Savoury dishes, lesehan style food, traditional Indonesian dessert and free coffee too (which is amazing btw).

Ini hotel bintang 3 tapi mestinya masuk kategori bintang 4 nih. Bersih dan nyaman. Ke mana² juga deket kalo nginep di sini.

Room is nice and clean. Only problem is about the restaurant staff for the room service. Order food and waited for an hour but the food was not served. Called again the restaurant, the restaurant mentioned the food was not prepared due to that item was not available. And they did not inform me amd keep me waiting until i called again. Very disappointed

Front staffs are not very friendly and ofcourse it's jakarta hence everything is based on money u spent. Rooms are quite conjugated and not great. But i love food here.

nadir ali (25/08/2017 10:40)
Nice place. The staff are helpful and it is near some good malls to buy things for your loved ones

Michael Engelbert (14/08/2017 06:52)
I'm grabbing a quick lunch here. The food taste is quite good but do not have so many choices. The price is quite cheap for an all you can eat lunch (about 45k, on monday)

I thought I was in a science fiction movie when I first arrived.
The staff were in black with silver hair.
The landscape, room etc looked futuristic.
It is located near WTC Mangga 2 and Mangga 2 Square.
From Mangga 2 Square there are Damri buses going to the airport every hour. It is just 5 mins walk.
Pasar Pagi Mangga 2 is 10 mins walk.
Kota Transjakarta station is 20 mins walk.
From there you can go to Blok M, Tanjung Periok or Pluit.
In front of Mangga 2 Square is Gunung Sahari Transjakarta station.
From here you can go to Tj Periok, Ancol, Melayu, Senen etc.
The only thing I found miserable here was the whistle of trains passing by.

Stayed here 1 night for a training. I came to reseptionist at 17.00, they welcomed me and process my reservation. Took 10 minutes to process my booking and they asked 200.000 rupiah for deposit cash (which we can take it back on check out). They upgrade my reservation from standard room to executive room for free! I give 9/10 for receptionist job. Thank you so much!

Hotel lift button was somehow difficult to detect my fingertip, it took me 2-3times button pressing to react to my fingertips. Maybe not a big deal, but could be a problem for people in rush. There was strong musty smell on hallway on 3rd floor.

Hotel room was bigger and much better than I expected. Bed was big and comfortable, lighting was enough for daily activity. Air con was cold, and the room itself was comfortable even when I shut down air con. One big minus was internet connection. It was very difficult to detect Telkomsel on my room, but 3 was working fine. Wifi connection was unreliable, on and off, and undetected on partikular spots in room. You can also hear people talking and walking on hallway. I give 8,5/10 for room. Please fix the wifi connection, it was very annoying.

Bathroom was big, spacious, and water flow and heat was working fine. There were also bathroom amenities, but unfortunately they only provide '3 in 1' liquid soap - shampoo - conditioner in a single liquid dispenser at shower. There were 2 round handshoap, but I wish they provide separated liquid soap and shampoo. I give 8/10 for bathroom.

Breakfast was served at restaurant at ground floor. Restaurant decoration was great, dominated by dark colors, giving masculine ambience. Food was nice, specially fried fish (ikan kakap) was delicious. Fried noodle was too salty but still ok. Bread and fresh salad was delicious. I give 9/10 for breakfast. Good job! I wish they give more menu option in future.

I give score 8,5/10 for this hotel. Very recomended middle class hotel in Mangga dua square area, compared to cheaper options in the same area. Even though located on separated building in Mangga Dua Square complex, you can walk +/-10 minutes to reach the main shopping building. Keep the good job!

Honestly i didnt find anything disappointing from this hotel, the service is good, the room is clean and tidy and its a great place to stay if you have mangga dua/itc as your destination, because this hotel is so near from that. Also the food is good too i think.

jes kylborg (14/01/2017 02:34)
There were a few issues like the soap dispenser were defective and the aircondition was noisy we asked for it to be fixed and it was so with in an hour. The restaurant is not worth it but there is plenty of other options nearby. Otherwise service is very polite and all in all pleasant experience

Christopher Soesanto (14/01/2017 01:01)
Value for the money, but very close to railroad track crossing, can be noisy

Denmus Harnal (11/11/2016 01:22)
The hotel locations is very strategic, near from pasar pagi Mangga Dua, ITC Mangga Dua, WTC and Mangga Dua square, mostly guest want to visit those places. Neo Mangga management by Aston international who has standard international service for guests.

I stayed there between the 18th August 2016 till the 22nd and I would say that this hotel is relatively nice for a short visit. When I first arrived there it wasn't easy to find this hotel since you had to enter Mangga Dua Square first and then drive all the way to the other side of this complex in order to find this hotel.
The check in went fluid and I got myself a deluxe room on the 3rd floor (Room number 319). It was a bigger room than the usual rooms there. I was happy with my room because it was equipped with a closet, minibar, fridge, locker and all the other things that you would find in a standard hotel room so I couldn't complain. I booked this hotel with breakfast as well that starts from 6am to 10am. I went to eat breakfast there at 6am once and there wasn't much going on at this time since it was very early. For breakfast it is ideal to come between 8-9 because then you have lots of going on there and the variety of foods, snacks and beverages also expands within time. Couldn't complain about the food there as it was really delicious, especially the noodles with rice that you could take from the buffet. As an outgoing person myself I also really liked the fact that you had a taxi stand right in front of the hotel so therefore I couldn't complain there either. When I was there, this hotel was overwhelmingly booked by Arabs and I was literally the only Caucasian person I've seen there. There must be a reason why this hotel is a hotspot destination for Arabs and I couldn't figure out why.
One of the negative parts about this hotel is not really about the hotel itself, but rather its location. It is located right at the very last end of the Mangga Dua Square area right on the other side of WTC Mangga Dua and the area around the hotel is located in a dead quiet place where nothing is going on there during day with lots of building and apartment blocks that seems to be run down and closed off, giving that area a depressing feeling when walking around these buildings. In order to shine some light into the darkness it is really worth mentioning the very close proximity between the Mangga Dua Square Mall and the hotel, which is only a 5 minute walk where you have lots of shops and restaurants to keep you busy during day when you're not planning to go out somewhere. Since this hotel is located in northern Jakarta, it does take a little while to get into the city, especially when you plan to depart during rush hour where traffic is at its peak.
In my conclusion, although this hotel is located in a relatively run down area in northern Jakarta, this hotel is a really comfortable place to spend your nights at with taxis waiting right at your doorstep when needed. As for me personally, it was worth a little experience but I would not really book this hotel again due to its unfortunate location, but still very recommendable

We stayed only half of the night. We came late. The location far from everywhere. The front desk unfriendly when you tell them about hotel issues. I trust hotel picture brochure. I planned to stay there a week so I checked in November 20,2015. I told the front desk that the hotel was not the one like they described and we were unhappy: We tried to leave but no Wifi so we stuck for half night we wait till morning to move to different hotel. The tiny room that what we got plus.
1. The room was dirty and smell cigarette. The carpet floor in each floor un organized. My room had Dirty Sheet, the toilet bawl was yellow like someone was pee before we checked in. We only allowed to have 1 room key so when one of us leave the room had no power for me.
2. The filthy towel with hole and stains.
3. Zero wifi, AC doesn't work properly
4. No manager on duty also the shower drain is clogged so we showered with water on our foot it was gross.
5. The front desk said no manager to talk with. They don't allow us to meet in person or talk to mgr on the phone so we have to wait between Front desk and manager talk on the phone back and forth While I address the issues few people were complaining. They can see by their hotel camera there. This hotel community majority arabic/middle east i am not racist just saying.

I am not going back to Hotel NEO Mangga Dua Square anymore. It was nightmare totally!
NEO manga dua charged my credit card fully. I am working to dispute the charge to my credit card company. Thanks.

I come here for SMART Lunch, and what i get. this is the very best lunch in my life. i think the chef was not there, because the other staff was cooking without chef uniform. the fried rice was bad, the vermicelli fried was stink. this is the first time and the last for me to lunch here. even my son can't eat the food.

Nice place to stay for a short time. Although there is one small thing, the bathroom exhaust doesn't work.
