If you want to try authentic Indian Food in Jakarta, you should try this place. Recommend to try their Tandoori Chicken, Pani Puri, and their Mango Lassi

I only had an Masala Dosa which at a cost of S$8.50 ( A much better one in Singapore costs only $4.00). Considering much lower labor costs in Jakarta compared to Singapore, owner should be making fortunes.

Nice Indian restaurant in Jakarta, the chef is from India. Ambience is nice and they have one big room which can be used for private parties.
It is on the 9th floor and lift some time takes ages to come have patience

Not good at all bro! I don’t know why they have 5* rating. I guess may be the owners did to attract clients like me.
Service:
Worst. Ordered masala papad and they served after 20 minutes, when I had already finished my beer.
Food:
Not good, if not worst. I ordered paneer dish and it was just an average thing. My brother ordered butter chicken and didn’t like at all.
Price:
Too pricey for such a mediocre restaurant, I swear. We spent more than 750,000 for food which we didn’t like at all.
I seriously doubt the authenticity of the ratings. The location was far from my hotel, and I went there by seeing the ratings.

Route shown on google map towards destinatio is not perfect due to construction. Route changes very often adds frustation and delay. Regarding fine dining at Ganesha Ek Sanskriti... no doubt...fantastic and most authentic Indian food.

Food used to be good and excellent.. I guess with time things have been taken for granted now.. Some dishes are still tasty.. Just missing that little ting in taste.. I hope they can get back the taste like it used to be.. Still my favorite restaurant though.. I was a bit surprised on today's takeout.. Had ordered 8 BUTTER NAAN.. but got BURNT NAAN.. All 8 of them.. I guess the chef was not having a good day. I truly hope things get better.. The staff are very courteous and cleanliness is very good...

If you're looking to find some authentic Indian food then you've come to the right place. The chef's are Indian so you won't be disappointed. The food tasted great, service staff was attentive and helpful but sadly the restaurant itself lacked charm and the interior is underwhelming. Overall 4/5.

I have visited this place twice and both my quests (came from mumbai and singapore) are satisfied with the food served here. They serves fresh naan bread (made to order) and you must try the chicken tikka masaala and rogan josh.

Very nice and delicious Indian food. Ambience is also pleasant and kinda traditional. Service is fine. Staff is pretty friendly and prominent. Price is bit on a higher side. Overall a satisfactory experience.

You will love Indian food here. Place is very much cozy and calm. Nice food but bit of high cost. Enjoyed food many times here.

One of the oldest Indian restaurant. Used to be the best place to host guests, however quality of food has deteriorated lately and alongwith lack of variety. Their all you can eat buffet lunch on Saturday (South Indian cuisine) and Sunday(North Indian) are still popular. Good sweetmeat counter.
Sangeeta Chhangani (01/03/2017 09:31)
Good food but be prepared for loud music at all points since they host regular parties
Chanakya Vaidya (08/02/2017 02:56)
Good food especially the buffet is value for money. However they need to revamp the menu and try something new for the regulars..

Yogyakarta has only 2-3 indian restaurants. For vegetarians like my parents, we had to source this place out and we were very satisfied with their service and after service.
We even had a moment where we realised that my dad had misplaced his wallet the previous day and we called the restaurant up. They were very friendly and even whassaped me with updates. Though the location is not near by, i recommend all indian and vegetarians to come here. They are really worth it.

Good resturant with good indian taste , I ordered chicken biryani and chicken tikka masala with nana.
but the manager of the resturant is a little bit rude! After I went to rest room , he tried to flirt with my girl friend and he asked her number ! That pissed me off ! So rude . His name is Mohammed khan .

I like Butter Chicken from Ganesha, it is really addictive. I compare butter chicken here with Little India's.
Price is 100K in Ganesha, and 70K in Little India.
But the taste is really different!! Ganesha's butter chicken is much tastier and savory. Place is also good, quick serving & friendly staffs.

Great food and very nice ambience. The Weekend buffet on both Saturday and Sunday is very nice. During buffet hours, there are rarely any seats left so make a reservation in advance.

Poorly cooked meat dish gave a bad stomach to my family. Overpriced from several angles but worth a visit. Several other better choices offering better choice and price in the area. Menu is too Monotonous and predictable. Lightning is a bit dull. Would not make this on my regular visit list as variety and menu is same since last 4 years.
yosep krisnawan (17/09/2014 17:17)
The gohst biryani has a very good taste. The meat is very easy to be munched. Tandoori murg is also a must try menu. But please be patient, because they have a poor serving time. Its worth to wait after all.
