Dutch flavor with Chinese ownership. But I would prefer to stay at 6 degree in the front, but taking this one as a backup plan. They have single rooms on the second floor which can be considered as a cheap hotel stay. The only highlight...

Very wonderful place stuff is very very good and the owner is very simple man and the hotel is very great clean and in the centre of Jakarta definitely I will back again there thank you for everything asmi

Cheap but cozy hostel in the centre of Jakarta. Close to Cikini station and a lot of food around although a little bit expensive. Sleeping pod is bigger than other hostel, multiple electric sockets, folding table and spacious locker inside the room. They even provide hair dryer and iron. Bathroom sometimes have weird smell and the lighting is a bit dark, it makes my mood rather gloomy. No prayer room for Moslem

This is one of the best hostels that I have stayed in.
The dorms are divided into capsules. You have a lot of privacy.
Inside the capsules there is a small desk and individual lighting.
Ideal for working from bed or planning your next trips.
The facilities are always very clean, also clean toilets and showers
and the Staff is amazing. Freddy (boss) is always in for a talk when you enter the hostel and solves problems/complaints in a very professional way. Ersa always keeps his head cool and helped me with his contacts in my next destination. Dimas gives great advice about the city and how to go to your next destination. Herman is always in a good mood and ready to party. And pascal is always welcoming new customers with a big smile and jokes. Total review: clean hostel, very nice staff, best value/money.

I really liked this hostel. They seemed to have really put thought into how to cater for a backpacker. The beds are comfy, the rooms are clean and the atmosphere is awesome. The rooftop bar provides a great space to mingle with other travelers with cheap alcohol and really friendly, helpful staff, especially Herman and Dimas. I would recommend this hostel to anyone traveling through Jakarta that's looking for a place where they can both chill and have a drink.

Loved this hostel. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms are clean, and bathrooms are clean too. The volunteer at the bar upstairs, Herman, (spelling?) is so helpful and friendly, and makes it really easy to meet people because he makes sure to include everyone in the conversation

This is the best hostel I have ever stayed in! There is a party every night on the roof terrace with good beer deals. The best bit is the staff - Dimas is the loveliest person. He helped me and my sister out with a train ticket very late at night after he finished his shift and saved us! He is wonderful and so is everyone here. This is the best place to stay in Jakarta 10/10 would recommend!!

Tucked in a nondescript alley of Cikini (best landmarks are SMPN1 & Texas Chicken) is a gem of a hostel. Decor is neo-colonial/hipster vintage, with lots of lounging areas on every floors. Staff are friendly & endlessly helpful. The sleeping capsules are comfortable, clean, & well appointed (you don't even need a European plug adapter), but a bit stuffy on the far side. Sadly guests & prevailing culture is a bit loud & you need to eke out your own prayer facilities/got to the mosque at TIM. Highly recommended if you're are looking to meet fellow travellers.

Capsule Hotel was wonderful. They treat us like a family. You can feel a warm atmosphere: from the staffs, and the guests. It is located in the center so it will be easy to go around town. I recommend to stay here if you go to Jakarta.

Great group of workers here. Yasmine, Dimas, Freddy all made the stay welcoming and enjoyable. The only gripe I had was that the men's washroom had a bad stench. But that could just be a Southeast Asia thing

Amazing place to stay here and forget about busy Jakarta. The staff is incredible, they make you feel at home. Dimas helped me out with everything I needed and always serves you with a big smile!

This is a pretty classic hostel. I stayed in a dorm but there are also private rooms. The dorm was nice, as each bed is in its own little compartment (capsule?) and has a light that doesn't bother anyone else. I didn't like the location of my assigned bed--right by the door and the only full room light, so it never got fully dark in my compartment--but I imagine most other beds were better. The rooftop area where breakfast is set out was a nice place to hang out. WiFi was strong throughout the 5 story building which I appreciated. It seems like an easy place to choose to be very social or keep to yourself and not be disturbed.

Such a really nice hostel ! The place is really nice and modern. You will find everything you need. The staff is just very nice and helpful ! The geographical position is good, with places to eat just next to.

Excellent hostel! Good location, very clean and comfortable. The staff is super friendly. I would definitely recommend staying here. It doesn't matter if you're just staying for a night or visiting Jakarta. Enough good food places in the neighborhood and easy access. Cikini raya is a well known street in Jakarta so cab drivers most often know where to go.

Sangat nyaman, bersih , terdapat loker untuk menyimpan barang barang pribadi. Staff nya ramah. Namun untuk kamar mandi sedikit kurang rapi. Banyak handuk /pakaian entah milik siapa tertinggal. Selain itu akses transportasi umum sedikit sulit. Lebih mudah menggunakan taksi, Uber, gojek dll. Hal ini tidak akan jadi masalah jika kita memang berniat berwisata di jakarta. Terima kasih untuk pengalaman yang sangat menyenangkan.

I go for 4 stars because the hostel is great, but the location is not supporting because 1. The location is within an office complex (no sign to make it easier to locate), I had difficulties at first finding it and 2. It's far from central area and TransJakarta. The available public transportation, other than online transportation, are public buses which is a very daunting task to do if you're a foreigner, and bajaj. Traveler should always use either taxi or Uber to get anywhere from the hostel.

Helpful and nice staff !! Capsules are also nice and perfect for solo Travellers! Location is good and has public transportation in range within 10 miniutes of walking.

Staff: Awesome, the best staff ever!
Accommodation: the dorms "capsule" are better than classic bunk bed. We have privacy, the mattress/cushions (x2) are the most comfortable I've experienced in a hostel so far.
Commun area: the bathrooms, the lobby and the top floor are clean. The lobby is a nice place to chill and enjoy a cold beer as well as the top floor (sofas, TV, rooftop).

I was here for 6 nights, and it is one of the best hostels I've stayed in. The staff are great - they are friendly and helpful, know all the guests by name, and really seem to care about making the place good. The beds are comfortable and give a lot of privacy, and the toilets and showers are clean. I am glad I stayed here, because I made a lot of new friends from the guests and staff, and having such a comfortable place to come back to made my time in Jakarta much more enjoyable. I will definitely be staying here again when I return to the city this year.

Great Hostel. I haven't stayed at many, but the staff is really friendly. They have a lounge on the top floor with a large patio with jacuzzi. If you do take the private room, just know the bathroom is all glass, so you can see everything (almost everything).
There isn't no real buses that are near by, so you need to taxi or walk.

Strongly recommended for those who want to stay for a long period in Jakarta, because the best services they provided definitely will make you feel more than in a home!
I been staying here for 10days as business trip. First day I arrived.. I was surprised with the services which is the staff will help me to carry my heavier luggage climbed up the stair case to level 2. During the stay I always forgot to bring together my room access card or forgot my locker passwords, and so I always go and get help from the reception, it was almost 5 times I did that but every time they was being so patiently and immediately run up to my room and open the door for me..
The reception staffs used to being so friendly for helping me to call the taxi through the apps and there's few choices to get the car.. You may choose the cheaper one from grab Car but don't expect good service and safer from the driver as they are the private driver.( for safer better choose BLUE BIRD).
I was falls sick during my stay at this backpacker also.. Can't sleep well at night, so I went down to the lobby, and the boss was so friendly to ask why I was still awakes at 2am ,and I just tell him that I sick actually.. He straight offer me some Medicines.. and remind me to drink more water. It's so warmed to me.
2 days before I left the hostel.. I just gave some suggestions to them and ask for more variety for breakfast as I felt bored to took the same breakfast which is toast with some jams and the cornflakes, after I came back from work.. The boss straight tells me that they have take my suggestion and say that will improve it start tomorrow. I really impressed to their super good services! A business woman like me, whom used to run the Asia markets for business and so far I never met such a friendly boss and staffs yet.. They made me felt so homey.
Their Toilet are very clean, the blanket are very comfort just like 5 stars hotel, there's a foldable table installed, laundry service just cost Rp18k which is USD1.5 per kg ( send by today 1pm and you will be able to get back by tomorrow at the same time).

I have also been to the Six Degrees Backpacker Hostel at the front. Find this place much cleaner with much better personal space than the latter. The pods are bigger (can sit upright in them) and lockers can fit my whole backpack easily. Only complain is, I wish there is more privacy by having curtains at the end of the pods. The common areas here are much bigger and cozy too. However, there isn't a bar in the roof, so maybe no parties here. The reception was very friendly and helpful in arranging transport to places nearby.

This hostel was perfect, breakfast was included, the room was clean, and the capsule style bed provided a quiet space for sleeping. The most important part of why I like this hostel is because the staffs are all very friendly and recommend me a lot of good places and it's not only in Jakarta, but also in Indonesia. The location was at the centre of Jakarta which made everything quite accessible from here. Plus, it was not on the main street, so it gave me a relaxing atmosphere everytime I came back from a long wander in this lively city. Will definitely come back.
