Always love anomali. Yes, sometimes it's very crowded and full of people but it can always gives comfort. A perfect place to catch up with friends, or even to work. My fave? Caramel latte and hot choco. Don't forget to ask them to serve your drink on glass cup if you drink in, or bring your own tumblr. Let's reduce our plastic waste~

It offers wide choices of coffee yet somehow the brewing method is often not right resulting less optimal coffee.
I always have americano. Many times, it is too thin, most likely because of too much water OR pour-over is too fast. Should have been very slow.

Ambiance of the cafe is good buut.... The wifi can't connect when I was there. Also this hot greentea latte is not hot at all. Really disappointed 😢 hope they can serve it better in the future

Anomali is one of the pioneer of Indonesian coffee places. This place is one of the first shops, it has been renovated. Needless to say, coffee here is very good. It offers various kinds of Indonesian beans; only the best. Their espresso-based coffee are always good, but their manual brew are even better. The baristas are always kind and helpful. It's a good meeting point, but it's always crowded after lunch and after business hours.

Good coffee. Love their hazelnut creme brulee. Try their papua bean !

Crowded afterwork times. If you found your coffee doesn't sweet enough, don't worry. Many kind of sugar you can have for free here

Cozy place with the best local coffee, working virtual at here, discuss with collages, eating some cakes, or hangout with drinking coffee, nice place, nice service, better coffee Indonesia

I love hot Dark Choco Rum. Sitting inside is better than outside, chairs & seats are seldom arranged & cleaned.

Good coffee, good ambiance. Good place to work and drink.

Decent coffee. Food is average. Okay price. Cozy joint. Seats & tables never properly cleaned. Always have leftover crumbs 🤔

Cozy place, strong coffee. Too bad they don't have many options for blended coffee.

Great products.
A nice place to sit, enjoying either a coffee, a breakfast or a lunch.
Staff could be more efficient. They seem to stick to a number of standard operating procedures and seem to have difficulties to apply some flexibility. If I order a cake without heating it, I have to explain it 3 times, and still I get heated cake. It is not ignorance. It's more a lack of flexible acting.
Also, staff should understand that not every customer wants to give his/her name. It's not necessary anyway, if the customer needs to wait at the counter to collect their order.
A very wide collection of coffees, which is great for the coffee lover.

Dependably awesome local coffee. Understated comfortable setting and ambience. Loads of single origin beans from various regions of Indonesia such as Aceh, Sulawesi, java, etc; and drip options available. So good each time

Hmm, nice atmosphere, good coffee. There are large tables for group. We ordered smoked beef pie, almond choco pastry, and choco brownie. The pie is a good choice so we ordered for the second round. Choco brownie was nice. Almond choco pastry came and we got surprised because it was overcooked and tasted bitter! Very much disappointment. We told the waitress and they apologize, and they changed it. The second plate of the pastry came out better but it was so-so and overpriced i think.

Great ambience for hanging out with friends, with a good cup of coffee to recharge yourself (however the food isn't so great though)

I agree with Rueben...good coffee but let me add super crap service...five people behind the counter, two were gossiping, one was watching another person working and the other one was texting, and we stood in front of the cashier for a while...while all of the 5 staff were somehow 'lost'...the owner ought to reinvest in human resource.

Consistently good coffee, consistently bad food. Better value than nearby St Ali and they support Indonesian coffee, so extra star for that
Derek Wong (16/11/2016 06:24)
Love the coffee here. Serves coffee made from local beans from all over Indonesia. Betters some internationally known coffee joints in my opinion. Serves tea too.
Nabiha Shahab (26/10/2016 22:28)
Great coffee. Nice atmosphere. Crowded at times, but you can get some work done between rush hours
Edgart Hartono (26/10/2016 07:12)
I ordered 2 double Espresso and choose Bali and Sumatra they billed for 1 Bali french pressed 1 sumatra french press n 1 double espresso. When i complain, the girl just said I though u know already and cannot void so i said cancel and make it 2 cup double espresso. Not a good attitude

Good service and plenty of coffee varieties. Local options and good atmosphere. Comfy seating as well and a great place to work.

I usually love their coffee, but it's been awhile since I last go to this coffee chain. This time the caramel flavor in their latte tastes too bitter for my taste. The shop is pretty big and crowded and on my visit was really understaffed.

I used to hangout at this place. Favorite place for expat, diplomat, NGO workers, and student. A bit crowded during lunch hour but still fine.
Ganjar Prajasa (03/07/2016 17:24)
Betted coffee selections compared to the coffee shop downstairs (starbucks) (according to my coffee snob friend). It also offers heavy breakfast menu for those who really want to pack the morning with tons of energy. It's relatively quieter too than starbucks downstairs, although it can be a lot more crowded at lunch time.

I came here quite often because I live nearby. Their morning-shift waiter/waitress know my usual morning coffee. Cozy place to work in the morning or just chill and enjoying the view of people passing by around the building early in the morning going to work. Usually I ask my clients to meet up here because it's closer to my place and they made great coffee it doesn't make my belly bloated.
Still my favorite coffee shop in Jakarta.
Gary Palit (14/02/2016 13:14)
This place well deserves a 5 if the wifi connection was more stable.
Anyway, I recommend the Black Forest Fusion.

Nice coffee but bad wi-fi. Good for quick meeting, but not for brainstorming.
Primasa Design (03/01/2016 22:57)
If you want to taste the real Indonesian coffee selections.... you should go to this place. Name it ...coffee from Indonesia's most east province to the most west province with variety of taste and acidity.
Arief Rachman Ashar (05/11/2015 16:01)
Great coffee shop. You could easily concentrate on what you're doing, reading, browsing, studying, you name it. The lightning might less comfortable for reading, but manageable. Can be quite crowded at times. They provide free WiFi, but could be very slow. Prices somewhat reasonable.
