Super an old train station, now I am glad that the KAI (Indonesian train company) just fixed and upgraded and clompleting all of the facilities.
Now, during check in I feel like I am on the airport's service.. there are super good service and good facilities..
Overall, I gave 5 stars for it..
Keep it a good works PT. KAI... I am proud of your works..

The station is nice, comfy, wide. The food that is sold in the food stalls are a little bit more expensive than those from outside. I suggest you to bring your own meal in case you have a sudden starve.

One of the oldest train station that has been renovated by the goverment. There’s a mosque, gift shop, indomaret, dunkin donut, and you can find cheap food around the station. If you want to drop of in the station it cost 5000 rupiah which is a bit expensive for me. If you are backpacker and want a place to stay you can sleep around the mosque, dont forget to bring autan in the night because there’s a lot of mosquito not despacito!

Did you know that Tawang name came from the local village nearby? Did you know that the station is really old? It was built in 1911 when Indonesia was colonized by the Dutch. I like the old structure of the building, and the unique thing about this station is that the announcement are not only in Bahasa language but also in traditional Java language.

Very old and historical Train Station in Semarang.
Nice maintenance for an old structures of building and located in the center of Semarang City.
Many food outlets and special snacks and souvenirs to have a good memory of your visit to Semarang

The Train Station is clean and busy.
Facility is complete such as minimarket, fast food and, toilet and prayer room.
Location is near old city semarang and terminal bus terboyo.
Available grab and gocar in front of this station.

it's one of train station in semarang which serves us with long journey train. located near kota lama and it's a historical building. comfortable main lobby, clean waiting room, large mosque, and have clean rest room.

A convenient place to have journey with train for north java route. West to Jakarta and East to Surabaya. There are food stalls here and also seating for passengers and those who wants to pick up them. However the park price is a bit high and the ticketing is a bit far from arrival door.

It's clean and in order, bigger parking space, and more decent public facilities for visitors. Departure and Arriving gates are now in the different places, so it isn't chaotic for passengers going or leaving the trains.
Not flooded in looong time, so obviously it is grown to be better. *don't laugh, but in the past, people could swim in station parking lot when rainy season* :)
Parking ticket is a bit pricy, 5k just to picking up, not more than 10 minutes.

Good service overall, ticket booking counter could be faster.
Announcement sound hard to understand, please adjust it so the passenger don't miss their train.
No toilet in Ring 2 waiting area (area after the security guard check your ticket) although you can get their permission to leave to station outer area.

Old fashioned train station with modern system by KAI. But there's many people sell many stuff in front of station area, and the area doesn't green enough. Waiting inside so hot

It is the biggest train station in Semarang. There are many routes available and you can order online, too. The place is spacious, clean with friendly & helpful employees. You have to come early so you don't have to queue for boarding. Some mini markets & small F&B vendors are there, too. If you want to go to this station, you can ride the Trans Semarang or Trans Jateng - local rapid transit busses with very affordable fare.

A historic place that become the main train station of Semarang. The architecture is really beautiful, historic, and enjoyable. The service by KAI here is really fast. Many place that you can use to take a seat. The parking lots is quite enough. It is adjacent to the old town and the city center. In front of the entrance, you can see the history of this place. The facility is quite enough as you can see in the map.

This station is one of the old places in my childhood.. now it's been renovated and become a clean and great place to be in.. Good job on it and i guess it's our duty to preserve this...

It's very clean beyond my expectation. There are some shops open 24 hours and it's helpful for the passengers who just arrive at late night or early morning.
My salute for the cleaning service boy works so diligent when they find messy on the toilet (i see it when it's on holiday season Lebaran - so i find it so rare)

Modern station with artdeco decoration. Hopefully they will open more ticket counter in this station, bcs a single ticket counter won't be enough.

Very well preserved. They don't allow you to sleep on the bench even if you arrive on a late night train. You have to go outside

A historic building. Quite be more maintained than past years. But the public facility could be improved, i.e. public toilet in visitor /non-passenger area is still lack in quantity and quality

Situated in old town, and since that this station become heritage site. They maintain cleanliness and tidiness here. PT. KAI improved their service by using self check in.
